[Full-Frame] I am a Canon prime user for decades but after trying my daughters Sigma Art lens I bought one. 3500 shots in i really like the quality of the images I am getting. I take senior pictures for foster kids and this lens really adds to my tool kit. This lens quality is every bit as good as the Canon lenses I own and I enjoy shooting with prime lenses. Canon 5D MK IV user.

[77 mm (Front)] The Sigma 28mm’s build quality is on another level when compared to some of the earlier Art lenses. Everything from the internal and external weather sealing, newly designed lens hood, and the overall Global Vision design. From a resolution standpoint, this lens is incredible! Auto focus for the most part is good on my Canon 5DS R. The lens did require some adjustments, and the auto focus can be quirky at times. I look forward to eliminating these issues with a Canon full frame mirrorless camera. Although an entirely different focal length, it compares well to Canon’s 35mm f/1.4 ii. Overall, the Canon has the better focus performance (DSLR) and slightly better image quality due to the Blue Spectrum Optics. With that being said, the Sigma 28mm Art is a great lens with a very useful focal length. If at times 24mm seems a bit wide and 35mm isn’t wide enough, and you want one of the very best, then Sigma’s 28mm prime lens will complement your kit as it does for me.

[T4.3] This is an amazinglens. The built quality is on par with Canon L lenses and Sigma Art lineup. Super wide angle with minimal distortion, the sharpness holds reasonably well all the way to the corners.

[f/1.4] I've owned Sigma Art 35's for Canon, Nikon and Sony (non-DG DN) and then had this lens in the Sony version on my A7r IV before switching to the Leica SL system. It does everything so incredibly well. It's sharp wide open, has no color issues (some Sigma's tend to be on the warmer side) and is built beautifully. The bokeh is ever so slightly busier than the canon 35L II (the best AF 35 made, in my opinion) but the difference is minor. If this lens cost $500 more, it would still be worth it, but at this price, it is an absolute bargain. Paired with the 85mm DG DN, I feel I can do anything, be it in the studio, in the field, at a wedding. These lenses are the new benchmark for how to do things correctly.

[Leica M] This adapter was optimized for all of the sigma Art line of lenses, and I have not have problems with any of the L lenses I tried. One of my favorite lenses that does not experience a great amount of aberration is the 135 1.8 and the 50 art. The others show the distortion around the edges as these lenses were made for full-frame, and not Cropped MF. The manufacturer has included an update port, and has already made a couple of improvements through firmware updates, like more compatibility with tamron lenses (at launch it would not recognize tamrons at all), and Improved start up time when turned on and engaging the lens. The adapter uses the camera's battery so unlike some of the other adapters it doesn't require a power source. Great build - metal, and feels like the sigma art lens finish. Lens feels secure on the adapter, and did not bind or get stuck and I have been using this for about 6 months aggressively. It has its quirks, I have seen some complain about theirs being too tight or non-functioning on arrival, but BH only provides quality products and adds that level of credibility to an overseas manufacturer/distributor. Highly recommend.

[0.205 lb] Sigma has already built a solid name with the Art series so no need in bragging about how good this lens is, it's a Sigma Art lens!

[Latch] Awesome case!! It is a little bigger than I wanted but I have a lot of gear. I have the 1813-5 but unable to have lens mounted on camera body. I have my Canon 5D with the sigma art mounted and my Canon 5D mk3 with the sigma art 85mm mounted. This is perfect for me. Love the skb cases with think tank dividers and super nice latches.
