[Brass, Rubber] I use this with the Sigma 70mm f2.8 macro lens. The hood supplied with this Sigma is a screw in type that will not easily allow the use of a filter and a lens cap. This lens hood does both; all the while protecting and shading the lens. The rubber easily folds back to allow access to the filter. I do not have to remove the hood to pack the lens in the bag or case. It stays on all the time. I would prefer that the rubber were a little bit stiffer.

[Zipper] I was lucky to snag this lens for 899$ on Deal Zone. Though I own a Sony Alpha 7RII, I bought it in the Canon mount as I eventually plan on using it on the Sigma full frame foveon sensor camera (the L mount version of this lens wasn't on sale). This is by far the sharpest lens I've used considering the entire frame but at the very centre of the frame, I feel the Sigma 70mm f/2.8 macro beats this one. The 70mm macro clearly feels sharper at the centre but overall this is a stunning lens and anyone who is on the fence of should/should not buy should go ahead and buy it even at it's retail price of $1399. Well worth the money. Stunning image quality, stunning build quality, not heavy if held by the lens or 2 handed, 4 year warranty and Made in Japan. Waiting to pair this lens and the 70mm f/2.8 macro with the full frame foveon sensor; sharpest lenses on the best sensor technology.

[Aluminum] I returned the Sigma 70mm macro for I felt it took way to long to focus. Additionally it was heavy. Not good for walking around in 104 desert heat. This one is lightweight and does a terrific job. So far very pleased. I'm stuck at home like everyone so most of my shots have been in a light box which I am waiting on a new one.

[Canon EF] I received my Sigma 70mm Macro Art Lens for Sony E today . I absolutely love it. The bokeh is smooth and dreamy. Lens is tact sharp. Combined with the Sony A7rm2 it is a winning conbination.

[0.1 lb] Needed this for a step up from the Sigma Art 70mm Macro to the Nikon ES-1 slide copier. Works like a champ!

[Rubber] I'm using this with the Sigma 28-70mm lens/BMPCC 6K and a Nucleus Nano motor for my gimbal rig and I'm very satisfied with the results. I had bought a 3D printed gear ring from a different supplier but it was 15x more expensive! Though that did the job, I end up returning it. There was no sense in paying that much when this one was more than adequate. Plus in a handheld gimbal, reducing weight is key for balance so it made more sense to use this instead of the other.

[Yes] very happy with this bag. holds my A7 III and Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN II Art Lens very well, and there's even enough space to hold a flash and some extra batteries. very high-quality material and very durable. used it in rain and the bag kept my gear perfectly dry. lastly, it's very comfortable. Highly recommended for street photography.

[Aluminum] I was doubting about this product because of its size and price but wanted to give it a try. I tried A7iii with 24-70mm Sigma on it, it was working perfectly! You can recharge it with a USB cable, it comes with a remote, and it's small enough to fit in your pocket. I can't say this is a better product than professional equipment but for $70 you must own one.

[Zipper] Holds my Z6 mounted with a FTZ and Sigma 150-600mm, as well as my 24-70mm F/4, 16-28mm f/2.8, Sennheiser microphone and 50mm f/1.8 with no problem.

[62 mm (Front)] This not truly a review because I have not quantified resolution, distortion, etc. I have carefully compared close-up photos taken with 35mm and 70mm Sigma Arts and I see little difference. This lens appears to be quite sharp, even wide open. Focusing is just lovely – the damping and throw suit me very well. I was concerned about focus shift, but if it is there, I don’t see it. This lens suits my needs quite well.
