[Silver Oxide] Nikon specified either an Alkaline or Silver Oxide battery for my original model Nikkormat EL. I tried both and both work perfectly. So this is a good option for you in one of these older cameras. I can't say about all cameras, but my Nikkormat's meter works just as well with this silver oxide battery as it does with the alkaline. Supposedly, sliver oxide batteries work better at colder temperatures. So give it a try!

[6 V] Whereas the voltage output of alkaline batteries has been shown to decrease over use and time, silver oxide batteries have a much more constant voltage output over the life of the battery. For this reason I prefer to use silver oxide batteries whenever possible. I chose the Exell S28PX battery to use in my Pentax digital spotmeter, which I've used periodically from time to time over the past two years, including in cold winter weather, and I've been very satisfied with its performance.

[392] I chose to buy a silver oxide battery to use in my Pentax digital spotmeter because silver oxide batteries are supposed to maintain a constant voltage output throughout their life and thus provide consistent performance, whereas the voltage output of alkaline batteries declines over time and thus affects their performance. The Excel S28PX battery that I bought seems to be performing well after about 2 years of occasional use; I'm happy with it.

[SR621SW] My old cameras seem happier with silver oxide than with alkaline batteries. The silver oxide ones keep their voltage stable longer, and they have less of a tendency to leak than alkaline batteries. They are harder to find these days, so I'm glad that B&H still stocks them.

[1x A25PX] Even though these batteries are 1.5V and the original mercury-oxide batteries were 1.4V, I really detect no difference the the meter output, and given the latitude of film, would make no practical difference. They work great!

[14.4 V] I use this adapter to put a Gold Mount battery on my Dracast Silver Series LED 1000 Foldable Bi-Color light. It works perfectly, and is very well made. I even use it to charge the gold mount batts on my V-Mount charger. All without a hitch. Another good product from Dracast.

[2 x 1 x 0.15"] I'm so pleased to find a fresh 6 volt silver battery to restore the functions of my Minox 35 GL. Now I'm looking at many more years of service from my pocket camera.

[1/4"-20 Male] I'm a fan of how the the silver version of the em10.3 looks with this grip (and the Laowa 17mm f/1.8 lens). The combination has a 70s/80s retro analog technophile look that suits my tastes. The grip attaches snugly and feels good in the hand, without making the whole package too large. The little extra bit to hold is nice in general, but especially useful for larger lenses. An unexpected benefit is that I can change the battery in the camera while the tripod mount is attached. This is because the tripod mount is offset by an inch and no longer blocks the battery door. Tripod mounts vary, so it may be different for yours.

[0.11 lb] It's a battery. But it's priced like a honest, hardworking battery should be. The OEM battery does have a shiny, silvery exterior (who doesn't lover silver) whereas the Watson model is black, but the silver option costs $40 compared to $13 for black. Battery styling and good looks aren't big factors for me, but if you are into shiny batteries, that's cool too. You what this battery does well? It charges and discharges, that's what. Electrons flow in, electrons flow out, push and pull. No overheating or rupturing so far, so I'm happy. Its a real, proper battery.
