[Yes] I've carefully examined numerous C-stands and have concluded that these are the best out there. You have the ability to use these on stairs or other uneven surfaces. You can mount 2 lights simultaneously (one high and one low) and for clam shell portrait lighting is the only stand you need. You can place these stands in the very corner of a room and mount your light as far back into the corner as it is possible to go. The boom is always attached and available either to add vertical height or to use as a boom arm. The boom arm grip at the end of the boom can not only hold lights via the included pin but also grips flags, scrims, reflectors, etc. with its special grip head. This C-stand includes a bracket for holding coiled electrical cable. It offers plenty of height for my studio needs and also folds flat for storage or travel. (The legs are also removeable.) As a product photographer I chose black to minimize reflections onto my subjects but it is also available in silver. They include a foam grip on the pole which minimizes slippage when carrying. They have proven heavy duty enough for my studio needs. They also come packaged very well and the abundant use of white foam gives me a supply of heavy-duty white foam for reflecting light onto my subjects. Frankly there isn't anything about them I don't like. I purchased 4 of them and they will be the only C-stands I buy from this point forward.

[4.0"] I am very pleased with this camera, small enough not to be noticed but powerful enough for broadcast television. Overall it's a fantastic camera.

[0.13 lb] Perfect. No need for a corner cut-out in the hood, as the lens + hood combo is small an unobtrusive.

[0.39 lb] We use a small form factor PC and monitor as a television, and this mini keyboard with scratch-pad makes a great remote control!

[14.2 x 9 x 6.7"] For major television broadcast work: I use this to hang small cameras like Komodo, FX3, GoPro, and similar cameras on windshields for driving car interiors. If you want the camera to not wobble so much, maybe use the dual or single version to give your camera rig a second point of contact. Love it. Easy to use. Works great.

[2.95 lb] As a 1-2 man band, keeping the rigs small is always the goal. We use beefy C-Stands and light stands, and the Baby Triple Header allows us to get light modifiers into the setup without having to lug around additional stands. Solid piece of gear that's already a must-have for us.

[3.5" (8.9 cm)] I own a small home studio and I'm in the process of completing acoustic treatment in the room. I decided to mount a distant ribbon mic high in the far corner of the room. To tame frequencies in that corner I built a 1' X 1' X 2 acoustic panel with 703 insulation, a wood frame and FR701 fabric. Rather than hang this panel I wanted to do a rigid mount from the ceiling. I had a number of Matthews MicroGrip arms and clamps but I needed two mounts: one for the ceiling and one for the back of the panel. The CAMVATE Mounts are a lifesaver! They allowed me to do the rigid mount that I envisioned. Of course you can't do pull ups on this, but the MicroGrip hardware allows me to angle and articulate the exact placement of the panel in a solid manner.
