[3840 x 2160] Had to fit a monitor in a small space. HDMI was a plus.

[HDMI/SDI] Monitor is used everyday. lightweight and portable. Monitor can be use with AC or battery.

[SDI] I needed a larger, yet portable monitor for use with video switching and streaming. The Shinobi 7 has both HDMI and SDI inputs, and looping outputs, and fits my needs perfectly. In particular, I need a good multi-view monitor, without the size and weight of rack-mounted components. The Shinobi runs a very long time on NP-F batteries, or an AC power supply.

[4.63 lb] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this to use to connect a portable monitor to a long, thick hdmi cable. The long thick hdmi cable was too unwieldy to use with the portable monitor, but the hyper thin cable works perfectly.

[0.15 lb] This is for those that have the need to access the usb and HDMI ports while recording:charging the battery or connecting the GoPro to a portable monitor for framing or viewing while recording.

[7.9 x 7 x 4.4"] It's great for small monitor or using it as utility battery. It can't be more compact than this.

[3.745 lb] Great Case. It's a tight fit, but I have my on camera reference monitor in this with a battery and HDMI Cable

[500:1] A 5 monitor seemed too small for my Nikon D7500 DSLR rig, where the C6 was 'just right' and doesn't add significantly more weight when handheld. Best thing about the C6 is how bright it is - able to clearly see the screen even in mid-day southern California sun (the sun hood does help with glare control for contrast). When indoors or at night, the screen dims to comfortable levels (extending the battery time). Been getting about one hour of runtime at low/mid-brightness using Ikan NP-F750 5800mAh with HDMI loop out and powering my Tilta Nucleus-n wireless focus motor. Do recommend using a battery plate on your rig for better weight distribution/balance. The U/X is easy to use via the touchscreen or the control wheel. Comes with a semi-hard carrying case that snuggly fits the monitor with closed cell foam screen protector, plus a zippered accessory pocket big enough for the mounting bracket, and maybe a short HDMI cable or two. Note that the case won't fit batteries or other accessories. Only significant issue is the 1/4-20 mounts on the monitor. A) they are not ARRI-style compatible, with the registration holes on the C6 spaced 12mm on center vs 15mm of the ARRI-style anti-rotation pins, plus they are too shallow. B) DC power in/out jacks are too close to the bottom -20 mounting hole to allow using a NATO rail or other quick release plate. So you either need to use the provided arm or get another monitor arm that just screws on.

[1x HDMI Male] This little monitor is a real boon for those who work with HDMI and SDI feeds, especially in a TV broadcast or film production environment. It also makes a great viewfinder for a DSLR and a handy little go-anywhere monitor for diverse uses, e.g. checking SDI outputs of satellite IRDs, chasing SDI at the tailboard of an OB truck or checking HDMI outputs for complex home entertainment systems or commercial installations. You pay a little more for the SDI input/output option, but if you work in professional broadcasting you must have it and for the money it's well worth it. The first pleasant surprise was the feel and heft of it. It has a metal chassis which feels just right and inspires confidence. The screen is viewable over a very wide angle, and all the various parameters such as safe-zones, peaking, vectorscope, display of audio levels, zebra, blue-screen etc should be enough to keep any demanding DP or director happy. The variety of DC input options is useful. Tolerating up to 18VDC input via the broadcast-standard 4-pin XLR socket, it can also use Sony F970-style batteries (my choice), Canon 5D batteries via the supplied battery mounting-plates, and (most usefully) the ubiquitous Anton-Bauer V-mount batteries via a special adapter-plate. Professional users will find these power-options especially handy. The supplied accessories are comprehensive and genuinely useful as well. The aluminium tilting-frame made for easy mounting on my DSLR cage-rig and the viewing-hood made use in bright sunlight a lot easier it just velcros into place. The clip-on battery mounting-plates make changing to a different style of battery a snack. The hot-shoe mount made it perfect for a DSLR video run and gun situation, or use on a stabilising-rig. This thing is versatile, and that's important when you're buying gear for daily use in different production-areas. This monitor deserves a place in the kit of any professional or semi-pro videographer or cinematographer.
