Small Musical Horn Instruments

[Cardioid] This is a great mic for Horns or Drums. It's a quick install, so if you have a horn player with multiple instruments, they can easily change between them.

Plug these hum eliminators in and leave them in line. The cure is instant. Don't be a victim of high electrician wages to search for the ground fault, especially on older Churches. [Plug-In Power] I normally use my MixPre 6 II as my primary recorder for violin, cello, and other musical instruments. However, setting up the MixPre is always a hassle, and I don't like how it has to be powered. When something requires too much time and effort, there's a tendency to hesitate in using it. Since getting this recorder, I can start my recordings within a matter of seconds (literally). I can easily bring it anywhere, and it has become my preferred device for sound recording. The sound quality with the built-in mic is excellent, comparable to the MixPre II (of course depending on the mic you use). It is better than the Zoom H6 I used to own, especially for recording musical instruments. I also have the DJI MIC 2, which is excellent for voice and highly portable. However, when it comes to recording musical instruments, it falls short compared to the PCM-A10.

[Shoulder Straps] I ordered these to monitor musical instruments recording and to watch music videos and movies on my laptop. The clarity and the power of the iLouds are outstanding. I added a subwoofer (usually not needed) to reinforce the low frequencies and I now feel like I have a home theater system. I highly recommend them.
