[14.4 VDC] This is my second cube. I have been using the first one since 2014. It's an excellent amplifier for small parties and outdoor events where there is no electric. I added the second cube because I am performing for bigger crowds.

[18 lb] Was not sure about sound quality for such an inexpensive and small speaker. Happy with it, sound is rich, but not too much bass. The outdoor setting seems to add high's and is not to my liking. Thinking about getting a 2nd for stereo. Like the little hook to hang if needed.

[Black] Even though I have experimented with stereo systems for almost 50 years, I had never bi-wired speakers until I recently purchased Bowers & Wilkins 603 floor-standing speakers. I was intrigued by their bi-wiring option that Crutchfield suggested could provide noticeable improvements in the overall transparency of your loudspeakers if I ran separate speaker wires to the low and high frequency drivers from a single amplifier. After doing some research, I discovered the Canare 4S11 bi-wire speaker cable at B&H. I don't claim to have golden ears, but I do want better sound at a reasonable price, so the Canare cables were interesting. However, I have to admit that to my eyes they looked sort of flimsy in the online picture, so I debated with myself about spending over $130 for two sets of 10-foot cables. Therefore, I was thrilled to discover that the two runs I ordered are not only substantial in diameter, they are professionally terminated with high quality banana cables that give me a tight fit into my vintage Audible Illusions S120 amplifier and my new B&Ws. While I can't tell you that the heavens opened and angelic choirs sang when I plugged them in, the speakers sound wonderful and I am now looking at upstream improvements in my system, including the RME ADA-2 DAC FS. My conclusion is that it only makes sense to bi-wire speakers if the speaker designer provides the option. So for me this was a great purchase. If you have speakers that offer the bi-wiring option, I highly recommending giving these a look.

[Polyethylene] I installed the cable between the mixer and the amplifier for speaker in oour overflow area. The previous cable was picking up the signal from a nearby radio station and adding that to the mix. This cable completely eliminated the problem and significantly reduced the level of amplification required to get a good balance. The clarity of the signal also improved noticably.

[33 1/3, 45 rpm] This speaker takes the best of the Get Together and adds lower range and a stronger amplifier. Simply the best looking and best sounding speaker I could ever imagine.

[12.75 lb] Our old 20 year outdoor speakers finally died. So after about 6 hours of Internet browsing off to the store I went. After listening in the store, it seemed this was the ONLY outdoor speaker that even approached my need for clean sound thoughout a eclectic range of music. To be honest the on the "metal Shelf" in store demo the speaker's performance, although the best out of the outdoor batch in the store, seemed to offer only at best, a compromise in performance to gain the weatherabilty. The in store demo was decieving...Upon installation over our deck area, my wife and I were stunned, both our jaws dropped...Instead of a the expected mush of voices and sound elements we could hear individual instruments and beautiful voice qualities and inflections we only heard before in our indoor system.. The apparent frequency response was incredible as well, way beyond our expectations. This was accomplished BY ONLY CHANGING TO theses new Atrium 8 SDI speakers. We played a Mahler Symphony, some 90's rock, a movie soundtrack from Beasts of the Southern Wild and a wonderful jazz vocal group called Paris Combo. Every piece was beautifully depicted and actually dimensioned with only our two speaker setup. My wife's commented out of her excitement and delight, " Oh honey this sounds so wonderul, We have to throw a party !!!! Thank you Polk Audio for lots of wonderful soundful parties to come!!!!
