Small Receiver To Power Outdoor Speakers

[FM] I use this to power my outdoor speakers off my computer, and it works great!!!!!

[10 Kilohms ] I have Bose 901 speakers which require an active equalizer so I need a preamp power amp combo. I have a Marantz 5 channel receiver to drive the center and other channels and this works great with the receiver to drive the 901s as the front speakers. B&H shipped this unit quickly and there were no problems.

[6 hours] Purchased this receiver to power a pair of Klipsch Quartet vintage speakers. This receiver has more than enough power to easily drive my Klipsch speakers to concert levels. No need for bells and whistles or a subwoofer in my setup. The receiver delivers all that is needed to listen to great stereo recordings from traditional media sources,

[6.5 dB] Used outside to power two outdoor speakers at a little league field. We use a microphone to announce players and stuff - and we hook up a CD player to play music. It was easy to set up, light to carry back and forth to our storage shed, simple to operate (important with lots of different volunteers handling) and powerful enough (we had 35 watt amps that clipped - and this one does not).

[0.1%] I'm using a legacy power amp to power my outdoor speakers as a separate zone and did not want to purchase an expensive preamp. This component let me take the line out from my receiver and sonos directly to the 300 watt power amp and control the volume. The line out was running the amp at full volume which was both too loud and distorted. Now I have full control over the input source and the amplifier volume.

[AES 256] works perfect w/ our existing receiver, a lot of echo, that I need to work on, either area too small or speakers just too much for the room. but it has great pick up.

[5.0] I was upgrading from a small cheap pair of speakers, and looking for something that had some solid bass without sounding boxy. The AugioEngine's are fantastic. They sound great, full of bass and very clear and crisp. Powerful too. Very happy with them. My set up is somewhat odd. A Mac going to a Denon receiver view NuForce DAC. Turntable into the same receiver. Using the RECORD OUT from the Denon to go into the AudioEngines. Works fine, thought it makes me laugh that when i'm listening to audio from the Mac I have about 5 different places to adjust the volume! The sub-woofer might be a nice addition, but so far I don't see really needing it.

[6.6 oz (187 g)] If you're looking for outdoor speakers that blend into the environment, and don't sound like a tin can, these are for you. They sound great, have great low end for such small enclosure, and are high quality build. Multiple options for wiring - each speaker can be stereo, or you can wire them independently as left / right / mono.
