Small Tuba Brass Instrument

[Solid-State] Need I say any more? It works!! Excellent reproduction of Brass Instrument Sounds! How can this be possible at sub $100??

[5 to 50 V] This mic will pretty much blow your mind with how clean it records. The brass instrument clip isn't that great. It wouldn't stay secured on the trumpet I mounted it on. Plus, certain mutes will prevent it from mounting entirely. I'm sure the clip is very instrument dependent, so plan for backup mounting options. When in doubt, gaff tape.

[Steel] This stand is solid and holds my Eb tuba perfectly. It is study and adjusts easily. It folds up fast so I can use it as I move from concert to concert.

[7.3 x 7 x 1.6"] This thing is excellent, just beware of the small brass screws on the filter ring.They are not firmly tightened.I took them out and used some Locktite on the threads so they want be loose any more.And sadly ,the filter pouch is to small for the holder with filter mounted.

[0.35 lb] These pins replace the small brass ones that came with my light stands and do A better job of holding my lights

[Side] I have 4 of these now in different sizes and all seem to have good build quality. You can't really go wrong with a small metal ring. I went with brass and haven't had issues so far with sticking to filters (also brass) and they are thin but still have enough knurling on them for grip with gloves on.

[0.3 lb] For such small speakers I’m enjoying every instrument in my music. I’m an avid jazz lover. Very pleased. The sound is crisp & clear.

[Download] I’ve been using this for field recording and grabbing instrument samples around the apartment. Upgraded from a Zoom H5 and the difference is quite dramatic. Even small things like the UI menus are laid out well. The preamps are very very detailed, and work well with any mic I can throw at them. Shotguns, small condensers, various contact mics, $10 radio shack lavs from the 80s, all sound very upfront and full. The ability to link channels in L/R or M/S is great. The polywav workflow is not the annoyance that I thought it would be, since it actually makes previewing and organizing much easier. The only serious annoyance is that the headphone knob also doubles as the data entry, which can be tough to reach sometimes.
