Smart Doorbell And Camera Set

[6 Months] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was suprised by the ease of set up and use for this doorbell camera. It only took me about 10 minutes to set up. The video quality is super high and having two different angles is very functional. definelty a competitor against Ring.

You can use this doorbell by wired connection or it’s powered by battery. The video captures a wide angle and provides an alert to your phone when there is motion detected. One really great feature is that you can speak to the person outside your door when they ring the doorbell. It is compatible with Alexa making it super convenient. I highly recommend this doorbell!

The app is also easy to use and it’s great to be able to see the videos right there in the app. The doorbell has a nice chime, not too loud or obnoxious like some! It’s amazing that there’s no commitment or monthly fee either! Definitely would recommend this smart doorbell if you’re looking to increase the security of your home and ease your mind.

I’m glad we came across the Ecobee smart doorbell because the camera quality is unmatched. It was so simple to install because instructions were detailed and easy to follow. Packaging was also efficient, nothing unnecessary and it is eco-friendly, so big plus for the environment. The app is easy to navigate and the push notifications are so handy! Would recommend this doorbell to anyone.

[1 User] this camera system is very convenient and easy to set up and use along with the Wi-Fi smart plugs i recommended to my friend at and he bought both plugs and camera and loves it

[40 W] I have a Sony alpha 7 series camera. In theory, it's possible to connect it to a smart phone using a built-in app, but in my experience, Sony's app is somewhere between cumbersome and impossible to set up. The Vello sets up very quickly -- plug it to into your camera's micro-USB, set the USB on the camera per the Vello instructions, go to Settings on your phone, and sign into the Vello's wifi signal. Apart from setting your camera's USB port, you don't have to screw around with the camera's menu at all, and the Vello gives you a full range of controls. The new CamRange2 will work with Sony and many others, but it's much more expensive. I don't think this unit is as robust as CamRangers, and it took a long time to charge the li-ion battery the first time, but it does what it promises. There are Vello apps that let you use Apple & Android smart phones/tablets and both Windows and Mac. (I use a Mac, and it's a 64-bit app, so it's compatible with OS Catalina.)
