Smart Window Air Conditioner With Heat

[1.89 lb] I have the Heat 3 Smart Shell which is itself great, but have been using those with lighter-weight fleece liners. That combo just wasn't doing the job when the Colorado winters are really cold and windy. This old guys hands have just been too cold too many times and now it doesn't take that much to make them painfully cold. Today the temperature with the windchill was 17 and I needed to be out in that quite some time. I gave these liners inside the Smart Shells quite the test. Yes, my hands were a little cool, but even having the shells open and folded back a couple of times with just the Durable Liners covering my fingers, my hands were never really cold. My impression is that the Polartec Wind Pro really works. I love this combination Heat Company shell and liner.

[12.7 x 7 x 3.2"] My new iPad air 2 hangs around the kitchen mostly (we have a great bay window there) and I use it for cooking as well as when my granddaughter comes to play with it. The base is very secure, even on a glass tabletop, and I can make the pad face completely towards the ceiling for cooking, but also adjust it for other uses. Adjustments are seemingly infinite and secure. I do not imagine I would have to repurchase it, it is very sturdy. Although the backstrap for holding up the iPad during presentations seems a but unnecessary for my purposes, I can se where it would be useful.

[Yes] We purchased an Eve Weather Station, and a Logitech Circle View week ago for monitoring our pet's room a week ago. Since we only had a couple of window air conditioners available as heat wave was starting, and could not leave room door open, we wanted a way to check in on our dear pet and make sure the room was not getting too hot for their health. Prior to this purchase, we had never made use of Apple's HomeKit technology and were completely ignorant of how it worked. Setup was very easy and quick. In addition to the Home app on our phones, we also downloaded the Eve app (this is not required per se, but may be to allow for firmware updates to the Eve Weather Station when made available). The app provides nice graphing for tracking trends or pinpointing historical readings, for example the difference in temperature before and after we added weather sealing to the window around the air conditioner. We were very happy with how easily this worked out, so we purchased several more and have distributed them throughout our living spaces. We are curious to look into seeing if we can also download the data as backup for later analysis as we experiment with other experiments and changes and attempts to manage heat and cooling. (This is a very old place with original, single-pane windows, there is very little insulating, and a southern exposure!)

[Two-Way] We purchased this device to use in our pet's room to allow for checking in on them while the door is kept closed during heat waves to keep the air conditioning contained. This camera was purchased along with an Eve Weather Station, and both were our first Apple HomeKit devices we have ever had or used. The setup was very simple and straight-forward and "just worked." It has been in place for approximately a week now and has been working perfectly fine.

[9.755 lb] Was having heat issues with DTV boxes and the cards were getting brown and fried from the heat. DTV boxes now are getting cool air and not sucking in hot hair blown out by the box it was on top of or laying next to. Great price, perfect solution.
