Sonos Beam Soundbar

[16.5 lb] Used this with Samsung UN40MU6290 (40 in TV). I needed to raise the TV further off of the dresser so that a Sonos Beam soundbar could fit beneath the TV without blocking the IR receiver on the TV. The stand that came with the TV was too low. The SANUS VSTV1 stand is well built and comes with all of the necessary screws and attachments. Putting it together was not difficult. I was able to adjust it so that the TV was at a perfect height to work with the Sonos Beam soundbar. A lip on the lower portion of the TV (and small TV size) limited positioning of the vertical brackets that are attached to the TV. For the height that I needed, this meant that the brackets stuck out approx 1 cm above the top of the TV. I ended up using a saw to cut off the ends of the bracket so that they did not stick out.

[3.3 in] My Sonos Beam soundbar is first generation and doesn’t have WiFi and I did not want long Ethernet cabling to hook it up. That means I chose to not use internet connection to my beam. So, my solution was to get the adapter and use the TV optical out for my audio source. I also needed more than one optical source so I purchased a one in and three out powered optical splitter. For me this arrangement is perfect as I now can use my subwoofer optionally or just my soundbar, or my wireless headphones. The volume of the beam is adjusted with a remote which I purchased. I am satisfied with this adapter which converts optical audio into an HDMI output. Using an HDMI cable between the adapter and my Beam was the finishing touch. This item is recommended if you want to go the route I chose.

[12 VDC, 800 mA] This item works flawlessly with an Apple TV 4k to output audio to a Sonos Beam using the Sonos optical adapter. I had to return a cheaper unit to Amazon because it caused flickering and video would drop out. This one did the trick and seems to have no issues.

[Plastic] This is a piece of well made mount. Very solid. Bought it along with the Sonos Beam for my Samsung TV. Works great.

[13 x 5 x 5"] This bracket is super simple and perfect. I you are looking to attach your wall mounted TV with a Sonos Beam, there is nothing easier. Exceptional quality! I'm so glad I purchased this.

[5x Class-D] We were never happy with our Samsung sound bar. Voices were drowned out by the background noise. This Sonos Beam is like day and night. Voices are clear and the sound from TV programs and movies are great. We don't have a large media room so this was a perfect addition.

[29 x 6.5 x 2"] The Sonos Beam is a beast. I love the sound quality-definitely impressed. I can only imagine that it's even better with the full setup! I'm looking forward to adding on a couple Sonos speakers and subwoofer down the road, but those aren't necessary to enjoy the Beam. Plus, the built-in Alexa is awesome.
