Sonos Ray Samsung The Frame

[4.35 lb] I got the Sonos Beam to go with a Samsung Frame TV and also to be an all-purpose audio device for our living area. I absolutely love it. The sound is phenomenal - it blows our old soundbar out of the water in every way. The built-in Google Assistant works EXTREMELY well. If you want me to nitpick: the price of the authorised wall bracket is way too high. Generally, though, this is an absolutely fantastic piece of kit.

[6x 3-Prong] I use this for a multimedia setup with 3D TV, blu-ray player, roku3, Sonos 5. With this I can have a one click turn on/off everything with the Kasa app or Alexa. Easy to see what's on/off with the app. Great for saving power.

[Yes, 2x 5 W] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Frame TV is a picture frame-like TV that can display artwork, shows, movies, and memories. It has a QLED HDR TV with 100% Color Volume and Quantum Dot that can saturate the screen with a billion colors. It also has an Art Mode that can transform the TV into an art exhibit. Speaker quality is not as expected.

[3-Way] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung has created a unique new product called the Music Frame and I am blown away by the idea and the sound from this product. First things first, the Music Frame doubles as a picture frame. You can display pictures in the 8X8 frame. The sound from this device is incredible. Once I setup the device by using the Smartthings app and accepted, I was able to cast my music and playlist. There was a bit of a delay when casting, but after a few seconds the music started playing. I couldn’t believe the sound from Music Frame. It was super loud and crisp. The bass response was tuned just right and the treble was perfect. I then paired the frame to my 2024 Samsung OLED. All I can say is the frame is now serving as our soundbar. The voice clarity is good and it has some of the same features of our soundbar. Night mode and voice enhancement is present as well. We also plan on getting another Music Frame to complete the stereo sound setup. Q-Symphony sound add another layer when watching TV. Hard to believe the Music Frame is able to produce the level of sound that it does. I was able to use the frame for sound on my older Samsung televisions as well. Overall, I was presently surprised and I super excited to listen to music and watch movies now. I really recommend listening to this device in person.

[Plastic] This is a piece of well made mount. Very solid. Bought it along with the Sonos Beam for my Samsung TV. Works great.

[5x Class-D] We were never happy with our Samsung sound bar. Voices were drowned out by the background noise. This Sonos Beam is like day and night. Voices are clear and the sound from TV programs and movies are great. We don't have a large media room so this was a perfect addition.

[16.5 lb] Used this with Samsung UN40MU6290 (40 in TV). I needed to raise the TV further off of the dresser so that a Sonos Beam soundbar could fit beneath the TV without blocking the IR receiver on the TV. The stand that came with the TV was too low. The SANUS VSTV1 stand is well built and comes with all of the necessary screws and attachments. Putting it together was not difficult. I was able to adjust it so that the TV was at a perfect height to work with the Sonos Beam soundbar. A lip on the lower portion of the TV (and small TV size) limited positioning of the vertical brackets that are attached to the TV. For the height that I needed, this meant that the brackets stuck out approx 1 cm above the top of the TV. I ended up using a saw to cut off the ends of the bracket so that they did not stick out.

[Dolby Atmos] The sound from the Sonos beam is very good. It sinks seamlessly with the Samsung monitor. This is the way the television should have sounded, and now thanks to the Sonos Beam. My audio is perfect!
