Sony 4K Camera Professional

[Omnidirectional] Okay, maybe I lied just a little - I only have four of them in my studio. (To be fair, I said like, which makes the statement less precise.) Let me see, what do I use these babies for? One camera is mounted with a light less than a foot from a chromakey mat. It performs its duties masterfully on screen, with the reliability of a star in a leading role, despite being relegated to wholly invisible duties most of the time. The image quality means I do not have to worry about awkward graining or shadows. Another camera feeds 4K video to be used as a picture-in-picture insert into live streams that I do. The image quality means I can crop and zoom and pan as needed to get the perfect view each time. The third camera captures a wide studio view for my Patreon supporters, as a secondary behind the scenes feed. The image quality mean it captures a professional and crisp image. The fourth camera is used for B-roll, whether temporarily mounted to a microphone stand or some other protruding fixture, or handheld on a mini gimbal. I think it's time to buy a fifth one! What I'm trying to say, is - if you need something that can handle 4K quality in all sorts of lighting conditions (and /professional/ 4K quality under professional lighting conditions) - this is my go-to camera for anything and everything where a sub-$500 camera will do, and it's not even half that price!

[1x USB-C Input] This is not a camera for vloggers. It's intent is to be used as a professional go to. Hence no IBIS (doesn't really matter in the professional video world). 10 bit Cinema 4K at 400mbs kind of speaks for itself. The quality of footage is outstanding packed in the small mirrorless body. DUAL ISO is simply incredible. This camera can see in the dark. Something you used to only get in Varicam models. I have paired this camera with a metabones xl speedbooster and the quality of 4K footage I get is amazing.

[Driver: 10.4.2] I use this card to gather my video feeds for livestreaming. Currently have a PTZOptics camera, sony 4K camera, and a laptop with powerpoint running on it that then all flows into Livestream studio. Easy to install and use!

[Bulb Mode] This camera is a the best camera under $10k in my opinion. The only thing wrong with it is it doesn't shoot Raw and doesn't shoot 4k or 6k 60p 4:2:2. The highest it gets is 4k 30p 4:2:2. It will shoot FHD 60p 4:2;2 but not 4K or 6K 4:2:2. The autofocus is trash but the autofocus is comparable to Canon and Sony autofocus which is also trash so there you have it. Just shoot in manual and life is good. Just do it, you won't be disappointed, especially for the $4k price. I own the Canon C200 and the Sony A7R3 and this camera is always in my hand. I use the Sony A7R3 as my stills camera but once in a while I will grab stills from the S1H video as the stills quality from video frames is excellent quality. I have my C200 all decked out with an Atomos Shogun Inferno and everything you can think of and it is now just collecting dust since I added the S1H to my arsenal. My S1H is now my A camera with my 2 GH5's as B and C cams. Will be getting another S1H in the near future as well. Hope this helped.

[Canon LP-E6] I use this to work with my Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema 4K camera and Sony F series Battery Holder from Smallrig, it works well!

They put one of their BEST full-frame sensors into a camera that can fit into your POCKET, loaded with all the bells and whistles to make your footage look amazing with very little effort. You can't give this thing less than 5 stars, you just can't. We live in a such a spoiled and entitled culture that when one small thing isn't perfect, we complain about it. Meanwhile, the companies are putting enough technology in your hand to film a FEATURE FILM and someone has the audacity to complain? This camera produces the image you expect from Sony, incredible specs like 4K 120fps, 4K 60fps, 10bit 422, 8bit 422 and the list goes on. Cinetone picture profile with variations, excellent audio capture, fast autofocus. I mean what the heck else do you need? Please don't scroll past my review to read the negative reviews. If you're like me and you know that lighting and shot composition are the backbone (and most important part of film making) to a good shoot then this camera is the one for you because Sony dumped all the sauce into this thing.

[Black] My dad has a FDR AX100 Sony 4K camera and the shoe on top is not standard and I wanted to attach this to a tripod or run and gun with it. Work perfectly. No complaints at all with the product, did exactly what I wanted. Now is Sony could have been smarter make a shoe that was universal that is a different issue.
