Sony A6000 Camera Body Only

[Arca-Type] Works perfectly with the Sony 90mm G OSS macro and the a6000 body. The thinner ring is required for that lens though due to the thicker throat of the Sony 90mm macro. Balances perfectly on a flat surface or tripod after it's installed. Only complaint is the long screw can get in the way of the lens lock button & grip depending on hand size. That's an easy fix simply by unscrewing the collar from the base plate and installing it backwards if the long screw gets in your way. All in all it's a quality product that does it's job properly. Holds my lens & a6000 body with zero wobble on a flat surface or tripod

[Plastic] The Sony RX100 VA provides incredible capability in an unimaginably small profile. I debated long and hard whether to purchase the RX 100 VII, but opted for the faster lens. I owned the original RX 100, until it died. The incremental upgrades between the original and the VA have become a quantum leap. The view finder two step action is not bothersome. The increased focus tracking and video tools add to the allure of this camera. My other gear includes: Sony 7rII, which I love and has incredible detail, but the RX 100 VA reduces the weight load by 90%, Sony a6000 - and the gap has narrowed such that I'll probably convert my a6000 to IR, and an iPhone 11 - which is not bad in a pinch, but the RX 100 VA brings all the creative control of my full frame and creates a much better file for LR/PS editing. Bottom line, the size profile truly makes this a camera you have with you at all time! Bravo Sony!

[1.1 lb] Purchased this lenses at B&H for my Sony A6000. Keep in mind -this a fully MANUAL lense - No complaining please. Construction - Excellent, a little too well-built for the A6000. For it's size, it's heavy. Mount fits snugly, will notice minimal shifting when jerking the camera, but it's expected - weighs more than the camera. Lens cap good; Mount cap garbage. A true wide angle. Very easy to get the whole frame in focus and sweet subjects isolated when needed. Focus ring is great - for my liking. Aperture is clicked. Center starts sharpening best at F2.0 Corners Best from F4-F8. Better Contrast than the Sony 50mm 1.8, 55mm-210mm, Sigma 19MM, 30MM, 60MM, Can sometimes can be sharper than all of the above. If you really want a quality FULLY MANUAL wide angle lens, then buy it. Otherwise, Touit, Rokinon 12MM F2 (ULTRAWIDE). WARNING: A. Bad lense shadowing when using on-board flash on the SONY A6000. B. Will have to set a custom key to use Focus Magnification. (I used the center dial key - lost Eye AF) Will not automatically pull up this feature like other supported Sony lenses. C. Goodbye Quick Hybrid AF features.

[f/4] I got this lens to go on my Sony A6000 because it's a moderately wide pancake lens. I can drop this camera and lens combination with the Sony lens hood and lens cap in a cargo pocket in my shorts or pants and easily carry it with me. It comes out easily enough when I want to use it. The image quality is pretty much what I expected and is good enough for my usage. All-in-all, I'm pleased with the lens and find it to be just fine for this mode of use.
