Sony Alpha A7S Ii

[Black] Identical to the one that came with my Sony Alpha 9.

[Cardioid] My camera is a Sony Alpha II, which is a very good mirrorless dslr, that takes movies as well. Of course the built in mic is minimal. I tried it out for real at a house concert, with serious audio equipment, and an audience of about 50. The two mics were both pointed at the artist, so it was not really sterio. The sound quality was quite presentable on the external stereo speakers driven from my laptop. My intention is iTunes and Facebook use, not making studio quality audio so it clearly does the job for me.

[Contax/Yashica] I bought this to mount our new set of contax zeiss c/y mount lenes to our Sony A7S ii. It does just what it says it does. It is made with metal and feels very strong. The mount is tight with little play. It has a solid tripod mount and a sexure release..great product for great price.

[0.35 lb] I use this to mount my collection of vintage Contax Zeiss lenses onto the Sony A7S II and it never comes off. It feels solid, and the manual lenses work amazing and seem to all fit either perfectly or just about perfect. Great product, get it!

[Noise Reduction] I purchased this microphone for use with a Sony A7S-II. A concern I had was whether using the switch on the device to make the signal going to the camera analog which is required to be used with the A7S-II would result in diminished sound quality. I find that the microphone works very well and that the noise reduction switch is also effective. I have been using the mic with the automatic level setting turned on. Thought I would leave a review in case someone has a similar concern about analog output into the Sony multi-interface shoe when the camera requires an analog signal. I am using this for making videos at home and of friends.

[7 x 3 x 1.2"] This unit plugs into the battery compartment of my Sony A7S II. I use a USB power supply to power this and it runs for hours, perhaps 4 hours. I haven't tested it yet on a real video gig but I'm hopeful this will do the trick. If you already have a USB battery pack then just plug this think into it and put the dummy battery into your compatible Sony camera.
