Sony Battery Charger

[Simultaneous] Battery fits camera as well as original. Main differences noted were that mA capacity of Power-2000 battery at 1500mA was higher and charge current of PT-59 700mA charger output was also much higher than the Sony 280mA charger for its 1080 ma battery. From some basic solar panel battery charging experience, I decided to purchased matching charger. Batteries charges in under 2 hours from low 40% level to 100%. Have not used Sony charger for these batteries, nor used this charger for the Sony battery due to current differences. Also like, and wanted, the 12VDC car power cord feature for camping and other outdoor excursions away from 115VAC. So far this choice has worked well together.

[Black] I purchased a spare charger because I have the Sony Batter Grip for the Sony Alpha A77 II. It works great and takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge the Sony NP-FM500H OEM Battery. When battery is fully charged, you can achieve approximately 450 shots before recharging. This charger also accepts Watson B-4216 Battery Pack for Sony Alpha Camera's and can achieve about 400 shots. Highly Recommended for a great spare battery at a lower cost.

[1] This is the original Sony Battery charger so I am not worried about bad charging of my batteries.

[0.045 lb] The fact that I can charge my xt1 battery and my Sony a7ii battery on the same charger at the same time with these interchangeable plates is so cool. Great product. Watson is my power provider of choice.

[1] The Sony battery and charger which is part of the Phoenix Led Light was dead. I had to purchase Watson products as a replacement. The Watson Products work perfectly.

[3.1 oz / 88 g] Yes, under $20 is great. And since Sony doesn't provide a battery charger anymore, I needed one, especially since these new mirrorless cameras need a lot of battery power [one in camera, one in charger]. Works fine, stops charging when battery is full, and it works in my car when on a photo road trip [as I did this year - over 7000 miles]. Charging takes some time [up to 6 hours], but I prefer that over quick charging, which runs down battery life faster.
