[1.205 lb] This case fits my Sony FX30 camera with 18-105mm PZ lens attached perfectly. I still have room for a few spare batteries and a few other accessories too. Like with all Portabrace products, this case is extremely well made and will sure to last a very long time, and it's made in the USA, you just can't beat that.

[Yes] I used to have - and not like - the E-PZ 18-105mm f/4 lens for my FX-30. While it’s great to have constant f/4 and a motorized zoom, its downfall is the absolutely giant minimum focus distance at higher zoom. No such problem with the E 18-135, it can focus super close at any zoom. The variable aperture is no issue as the depth of focus at higher zoom is super shallow anyhow. And then you get the range up to 135mm! If they had a motorized zoom version of this it would be perfect.

[0.98" / 25 mm] Works great, I was able to balance a Sony FS5 with the 18-105mm.

[0.2 lb] I picked up a Sony PZ 18-105 F4 and needed a UV protector for an upcoming trip. The UV filter was perfectly clear. My photos from the National Cathedral and other places on the trip came out fine no matter what range I was on with the lens.

[Empty] It works great for my Sony 24-105mm lens.

[Autofocus] I'm giving this lens 5 stars. It's not perfect but the image quality is really good and the price was right. I have a 7D and a 5D and I ordered the Canon 24-105mm so I could move up to an L lens. When I got the 24-105mm I tested it out on both Canon bodies. To my surprise the 18-135mm stood up quite well to the 24-105mm on the 7D and showed only marginal improvement but not enough to justify the cost difference in the two lenses. However, when comparing the 24-105 on the 5D against the 18-135mm on the 7D the 5D combo excelled. If you are familiar with the specs on the two cameras then you know why. Moral of the story: If you have a 7D and you are lusting after a 24-105mm, get the 18-135mm.

[58 mm (Front)] Youd think for the price this would have some flaws. At f.1/4 its pretty sharp at f.2 its razor sharp. I did not look at the outer edges of the frames as Im concerned with my subject. Good buy for the price.

[0.02 lb] This step down ring makes it possible to use an ND-filter on the Sony 28-135 mm PZ and still use the original sun hood. I am surprised that the step down ring has a glas disc fitted. Is it for lens protection. All other step up or step down rings I have is just rings
