[0.23 lb] As advertised, fits Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS Lens perfectly. Should it cost $41? I dont think so but serves me right for misplacing the lens hood that came with the lens. :-( ☹️ 5 |

[0.185 lb] I have been using the Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro and while its a great lens it did not have the right quality for people, just not as fast of focus nor the colors this lens is super sharp and great tool on the Sony Alpha a7R II seems truly a great match. 5 |

[0.06 lb] Bought this to go with my newly purchased Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS Lens and for a mere extra $500ish I've also got a 400mm lense. Works great! 5 |

[Neoprene] The Sony FE 50mm f/2.8 Macro is a fantastic lens for its price. It's lightweight and compact, making it ideal for long shooting days. Image sharpness is top-notch, and having macro capability alongside a standard 50mm lens is a significant advantage. This lens offers great value and versatility, a combination that I believe every photographer should have in their arsenal. 5 |

[Yes] Works smooth with the 28 to 135mm Zoom Lens on the FS7, useless on Sony Vario-Tessar T* Fe 16-35mm F/4 Za Oss and the Sony Fe 70-300mm F/4.5-5.6 G Oss Lens. 5 |

[75° to 34°] The Sony FE 28-70mm F3.5-5.6 OSS was purchased as a "Start-Up" for a Sony a7RIII. It was affordable and a good lens to get you familiar with how full frame Sony's work. With Sony "Super 35" & "Zoom" it is very veristal and can get you very familiar with the a camera. Also as a base lens with a camera that has a high ISO it can come in very handy. The sharpness isn't bad at all, nice and lite, but remember it is only 3.5-5.6 and only 70mm is the max. 5 |

[47°] It's big, the biggest prime in my FE lineup (ok 90mm macro is longer...) It's heavy... I think it's the heaviest 50mm across any mirrorless system (though I suspect the Leica SL will be heavier), and I believe only lighter then the DSLR Sigma Art. Thought it's distributed well. Its AF is slow-er then the next best choice, the 55mm F1.8. $1,500 for a 50... ouch Yet, it's... Sharp. Amazingly sharp wide open. The mic has been dropped here, nothing more to de debate. Handling... I already really like the 35mm 1.4... this ones pretty much identical and even better with the addition of the focus mode switch on the lens and an even fatter barrel. FBW implementation in MF (dampening, response, accuracy) is on a whole other usability level vs. 55mm. Those aspherical elements are absolutely fantastic - NO ONION RINGS! NADA! So yeah, bokeh lovers rejoice! Boooooooooookeeeeehhhhhhh... After using it extensively for 2 months it's my fav prime at the moment. 5 |

[f/4] Let me say that I have most Sony APSC lenses, so I can honestly compare most of them along with the Sigma Contemporary Prime lenses, My copy of this lens is nothing short of superb. It does not have softness in the corner and is comparable to the Sony E 16-55 2.8 lens that costs about $300 more. Every lens meets a specific need and as long as you use it in the way it was design you will have few complaints. This lens covers a full frame equivalent of 24-105mm and has Optical Steady Shot. Images out of it are definitely better than those out of the E 18-105 PZ OSS and E 18-135 OSS. The main advantage it has though is that it goes from 16-70 and is significantly smaller. Now for the elephant in the room, how does it compare to the E 16-55/2.8? I would say that in most situations you will be hard pressed to tell the difference, but the 2.8 is a bigger, faster lens with better image quality on a stabilized body like my a6600 or a6500. The problem with the 2.8 is that it is bigger and more noticeable. I have mistakenly brought big camera lenses to places where I wanted to photograph my granddaughter and drawn way too much attention to myself. This lens is small enough where that will not happen. It is also a joy to vary because it is so light. If you get a good copy of this lens as I did, you will never regret having it. 5 |

[8.55 x 4.9 x 1"] Got 2x to use with Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS E and my A7iii. Absolutely amazing! Great for animals, moon, and etc.very pleased with redults. 5 |

[Arca-Type] Works perfectly with the Sony 90mm G OSS macro and the a6000 body. The thinner ring is required for that lens though due to the thicker throat of the Sony 90mm macro. Balances perfectly on a flat surface or tripod after it's installed. Only complaint is the long screw can get in the way of the lens lock button & grip depending on hand size. That's an easy fix simply by unscrewing the collar from the base plate and installing it backwards if the long screw gets in your way. All in all it's a quality product that does it's job properly. Holds my lens & a6000 body with zero wobble on a flat surface or tripod 5 |
