[Aluminum] This is a nice way to attach the RODE GOII transmitter to your video camera. I use a Sony Handycam and Prior to buying this, I had to clip it onto the hand strap, which also worked, but I like that it is out of the way. Downfall: if you have this attached to your Handycam, many LED lights will not fit along with it.

[1260 mAh] I bought this as a second battery for my Sony Handycam HDR-CX405. Fits and works just like the original battery that came with the camera.

[Lithium-Ion] I have the Sony Handycam and I needed a new battery. I went to a local battery store and the one they sold me didn't work in my camera. I read review from other sites that sell the battery and people were saying that when they received it , it would not work in the camera. I ordered two of these batteries and they work in my camera !! I was so pleased. I was able to take movies of my recent trip to Flight 93 Memorial. Thank you for having a great product. If anyone has this Sony Handycam movie camera- please know that this battery will work !!

[10.36 Wh] My SONY Digital Handycam needed replacement batteries, and so I contacted SONY for help. They told me that the camera was too old and not supported. So instead I went to B&H and found the Watson batteries that replace SONY NP-50's. I ordered them and like Lazeras returning fromm the dead, my camera came back to life, and for a reasonable price.

[0.035 lb] I have an older Sony Handycam and use a Mac. I have had a heck of a time figuring out how to transfer video from the Sony to my computer. With this cable, I finally have a workaround. I feed the signal from the Handicap through the A/V port (digital) using this cable to a VCR. Then I use the Roxio VHS to DVD cable to go from the VCR to the Mac computer. With this setup, I'm able to transfer my video. The Sony Handicam apparently doesn't support USB transfer to Mac computers, which is why I had to figure out this workaround.

[2.5 mm] I ordered this as a replacement for my old Sony Handycam. Received the cable, plugged it in and it worked perfectly to import video from tape to my 2020 iMac.

[0.105 lb] The Sony ECM-XYST1M Stereo Microphone easily fit my Sony Handycam HDR-CX900. There was a big improvement in recorded audio over the internal multidirectional microphone. The audio is clearer with a higher signal to noise ratio. I would recommend this product.

[Aluminum] Its exactly what you hoped it would be. Very solid and stable. I have a Sony Handycam and Rode mic mounted on it and I have no fears when twirling it around or doing fast turns. It locks in really tight, and even has a tripod accessable slot at the bottom. All of my shots are much more stable when using this actionpan.
