Sony Lens Repair

[Front] When my 16-70 f/4 Sony lens needed repair it was actually a wake up call. All the reviews are true. The lens is small and light and easy to handhold! Even wide open the center is tack sharp and the corners good! Stopped down to f/5.6 the entire image is sharp. Distortion at both ends is visible but correctable in camera for jpegs or in raw via Lightroom lens profiles. Focus is quick and accurate and the bokeh is nice and smooth. The Sigma colors are warm and realistic. This lens is perfect for general photography, landscape, portraits, event and travel. This lens complements my 10-18 f/4 Sony; 60 f/2.8 Sigma; and 70-200 f/4 Sony. Great job Sigma!!

[f/32] I replaced a Canon 500mm L lens that Canon refused to repair (stating out of service period). This not only works as well (IMO) with my Canon bodies, but paired with the MC-11 EF to Sony adapter - is absolutely excellent. The shots from my Sony A7 III paired with the combo actually exceed what either of my Canon bodies can produce. Very happy with this lens.

[1.19 lb] Bought this to repair my Dell desktop. The same one that was in it.

[Nylon] Purchased to replace the original lens hood that had broken. Still attempting to repair the original, but the Travel Hood may be a permanent replacement. Very easy to attach and remove. Functions as intended. The Velcro allows for secure placement.

[Zipper] After dropping a new lens resulting in an expensive repair because my old camera bag was being repurposed and basically inadequate, I invested in this case. As with all Porta Brace products I have owned over the years, it was well designed and made to protect the contents. I appreciate that Porta Brace keeps developing new products to keep up with advancing technology.

[0.15 lb] I am just a camera repair tech, not a photographer at all. I have used and tested many lenses in the last 26 years off my career. This lens is my 1 favorite for sure. Here are some photos I shot a few days ago and would like to share with you. Thanks

[0.225 lb] I am extremely pleased with my new lens. I just got my cameria back from repair and went to photo birds in wildlife reserve. And my photo s are super sharp. With my new tampon lens. I photographed tern in flight. All but one were tack sharp. Very pleased
