[USB Bus Power] I came across some old camera memory cards - Memory Stick Pro and xD. I wasn't sure that I had removed everything. The xD card has been out of production since about 2009. So far - so good.

[64 GB] I bought two Sony 64GB CFast 2.0 G Series Memory Cards from B&H and in a couple of days I went to shoot with my Bmpcc 6k camera. Of course, there was a huge temptation to buy two 128 GB memory cards, but the price for them today made me adjust my desires. Therefore - 64 GB. But suddenly one curious detail appeared. The memory cards personally turned out to be very comfortable for me psychologically. Because each Sony 64GB Memory Card is designed for about 10 minutes of shooting. It's like one box of “kodak” film in its time. Those who worked in film will understand me. Working with film made me always be prepared for shooting, save film and not waste it. When I felt this parallel, I got tremendous pleasure from shooting. I recommend it to filmmakers.

[Intel: XMP 2.0] I had decided a while back to upgrade memory to 64GB. Was looking through DDR4 memory and came across this Patriot Viper memory @ $119.00. I remember 30 years ago when 64MB would have cost this much or more! I used Patriot memory years ago and it was good (plus Patriot is a US based company so support domestic tech companies). The memory arrived today. The heatsink caused a bit of a tight fit on my MSI MAG X570S Tomahawk board. The first stick went into the mandatory first slot with no problem, but for some reason the second was hard to seat properly. The time I tried to boot I got a memory error light. Took out 2nd stick and it booted up fine. Re-seated the 2nd stick...still no boot. Removed it and computer booted with the first stick only. Did this four different times with same result, but finally on the fifth try I could feel the stick seat properly and flashlight exam showed everything seated. Computer booted fine this time and shows the full 64GB and the proper timings. Since the case was dark, I suspect the problem seating it was primarily my fault. Just wanted to let people know it may be a tight fit and if your computer doesn't boot, be sure to try reseating the seats one at a time before thinking you got a bad memory kit. Very nice looking RAM, a bit taller than the Corsair Vengence low profile sticks I've used for a long time but no problem next to my Noctua cooler. Great job Patriot!

[0.05 lb] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised by the speeds of this memory stick. Works as advertised. Consistent speeds on both reads and writes. Samsung Magician allows for easy updates and device management.

[DDR4] I ordered this 8gb memory stick for my Synology DS1621+ and it worked flawlessly. New new module just fit in my 2nd slot and now I have the original 4gb and this additional 8gb for a total of 12 gb and now I can run a few VM's using the Synology Virtual Manager.

[0.05 lb] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of my printer. The day it came it was left right on my doorstep, so I was able to bring it right in the house and proceed to get it set up and ready to use. It was packed carefully but came easily out of the box. It was light enough to lift and set on the table that I was utilizing for the printer. This printer is great for the less technological people. It was extremely easy to set up. Once plugged in the screen lead you through each stage of setting up the printer and connecting to your home internet as well as installing the ink cartridges. Also, it showed you how to put the paper in the paper drawer. I was easily able to print a recipe from my computer. I had a two (2) page document and was able to select two-sided printing easily. I wanted to print a page on card stock paper so the document would be more durable, and the printer handled that function very well. There was no problem with the heavier paper stock. I also used my cell phone and found a couple of pictures I wanted to print. I put a piece of photo paper in, and it printed a very good quality picture of 81/2x11 photo paper. I then put in a stack of 4x6 photo paper in the printer and It did take a few minutes to find how to change in the print preferences but then was able to print several really nice 4x6 photos. The next challenge was to print from a memory stick. The place to insert the USB end of the memory stick is on the left side of the printer and it is lit up and easy to find. Once the memory stick was inserted, I was able to select each picture that was on it and print on whatever size and style of paper I wished. All in all, I was quite happy with this simple and easy to use printer.
