[6 oz / 170 g] These are my first open ear headphones. No more earbuds for me! 5 |

[Open-Ear] I love the open run mini!! I have never enjoyed wearing ear buds or headphones in or over my ears so these headphones are the best! They are so light that I forget I am wearing them and the sound is awesome. My husband purchased them too because he wanted to be "cool" too. He did not buy the mini though, his head is a bit larger so the open run fits him better. 5 |

[1] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These really through me for a loop! I say that because headphones, earbuds, wired or wireless are my, how do I say, my forte' These feel like an open air concert, similar to open air over the ear headphones of very, very high quality. There is so much to be said but, I will tell you the two best things about these truly wireless JBL SOUNDGEAR SENSE. The way JBL/Harmon engineerd these is completely new to me! Now remember I said headphones are my thing. Ive tried over 100 and kept about 30 pair in my entire collection. The SOUNDGEAR SENSE provide those exciting highs and lush sub bass notes in such a creative way. They are ready to the real world. There is a method to all of these amazing ideas. Its fascinating! These larger ear buds are all there. The comfort is all there. Especially for me, and you for all these reasons. You have the sound quality and fit as a great approach bordering on or actually being bone conducting buds! They dont sit over or in your ear, they transmit so beautifully. Its all there. Everything transmits wirelessly wirhout missing a beat. Thats the second reason. They are perfect for outside activities. Yes, fun in the sun mountain biking while listening to my favorite mix, without artificial ambiant control, its naturally a sweeter sound. Being that these are truly wireless, I can hear whats going on around me just enough to be safe! I can play all day with SOUNGEAR SENSE. The importance of knowing whats going on around you is no joke! So here we have both requests answered. Outstanding audio performance whilst allowing awareness of the surroundings. These never existed and I am honored to use and own them. They are that good! Remember, other people may hear your fav tracks too as the characteristics of the build. Yes, I absolutely love the concept, executed perfectly. I only wish I found them sooner. 5 |

[-40 dB] I am on my third set of Shokz open-ear headphones. I wear them all day, almost every day. I can hear my music and still hear family members talking to me, the door bell, the dogs wanting to come in, and so, so much more. I love my Shokz. I absolutely love, and depend, on my Shokz! 5 |

[0.345 lb] I've had my Sony MDR-7506 headphones for ten years or so, and the original ear-pieces flaked off a couple of years in. Not sure why I waited so long to replace them. I've seen some complaints about these being too small, and while they certainly are smaller than the OEM earpads, they're plenty comfortable for me and I had no trouble getting them on the headphones. These are my go-to monitoring and mixing headphones, and they're much more comfortable and effective with this purchase. 5 |

[20 lb] These are now the gold standard for over the ear ANC headphones. Forget Sony & Bose, IF you own apple products. 5 |

[Black] I go through a set of ear pads every year or two on my Sony MDRv-6 headphones. I thought the velour wouldn't be as sticky and hot in the summer. The pads fit the cans well and don't seem to affect the sonic quality. They're also comfortable. I'd buy them again. If this was for work at the studio (sharing) I'd stick with the faux leather for sanitary reasons. 5 |

[AAC, LDAC, SBC] I love these headphones. As stated in the title, I replaced my Shure SE215 in-ear monitors with these. I used Shure IEM's for traveling because of the high sound isolation provided by the triple flange ear tips. I decided to go a different direction with these because all my other headphones are Sony and I've always preferred the sound of Sony. I use Sony IEMs and Sony over-ear headphones for producing, mixing, and mastering music to give you an idea of my sound preference and experience with critical listening. The noise cancellation in the WI-1000XM2 is very comparable to the sound isolation of the Shure's. I would say with the proper fit, the noise cancellation is better, unquestionably in the low frequencies. The sound of the WI-1000XM2 is excellent. Slightly bright but not overbearing and certainly not lacking in bass. Detailed, clear, and balanced. I've already used them for traveling and love them, especially on planes. This is my first neckband headphone and it doesn't bother me. I might even say I prefer it as they can remain around my neck without constant stowing. Also, the cords to the earpieces are short won't tangle :) The build quality is excellent. I highly recommend them! 5 |

[2" / 50 mm] Now that my whole family is working at home with me, I've had to mix in headphones more than I'd prefer. I've never had to be dependent on headphones for a mix the way I am now, and so was previously mixing on Sony 7506 headphones. As DJ headphones, the Sony's are great, but for mixing, it was frustrating to say the least! Getting these room some adjustment at first, reminding my brain what flat sound should sound like in headphones. Once I got used to them, I was able to trust them and use my instincts in my mixes in the same way as my near field monitors. Previous reviews praised how comfortable they are, and they ain't lying! I can wear these for hours and don't get all sweaty, or feel that pinch pain in the upper ear. I was also surprised in the low end response. At first, it seemed boomy, especially previously mixing on the Sony's. As my ears adjusted, I was really impressed with the low end clarity and how true they were. I mix a lot of boom bap style hip hop and electronic music with heavy low end, and these thing reproduce that sub sound nicely. Someone mentioned the mid range on these isn't quite as punchy. That's true, but you learn to adjust quickly, and without ear fatigue, you can get a feel for them quick. I was happily surprised to see extra cables and replacement pads! It might have said they come with those things in the description, but I didn't see it. So I was stoked when I saw that stuff in the package. While the price point is kind of up there, having used them for a while now, and realizing how they allow me to mix so efficiently, I feel it's worth it. 5 |
