[Yes] Reference has breathed new life into my Sony MDR-V6's which have been faithfully serving me for more than 10 years. The only qualm I've had with the Sony's are an apparent sibilance, even if it can be pleasant at times. Reference improves that problem (including an issue with bass) to flatten the response. This has helped immensely with mixing, but has also made general listening more enjoyable and less fatiguing. SONARWORKS has reviewed lots of headphones and rated them based on their before and after calibration performance, so if you're on the market for new headphones, that might be a good starting point for reference. They also offer an additional service for individual calibration which requires sending your headphones in so they can produce a personal profile for your headphones, as opposed to using the general profiles included with the software (you can also purchase a new pre-calibrated pair from them). That's all of course if you're looking for some kind of edge and really find yourself doing a great deal of work on headphones; it could certainly be worth the extra cost particularly for mastering headphones. Pairing this software with something like CanOpener (to simulate monitor crossfeed) will put you pretty close to a solid monitor mixing environment, so this is incredible software particularly for compact or mobile headphone-centric setups, or as a compliment to a studio setup that utilizes headphones in any critical way. Looking forward to using it with new headphones when the time comes. Highly recommended. Be sure to check the full headphone compatibility list to be sure they at least have a general profile for your particular model. 5 |

[Mono] I’m a songwriter and this is my reference mic (main vocal mic is sony c-100). This adds something new to my vocal chain that I love without even having to EQ or compress. Raw vocals give an amazing cut for post production. Great low self noise. Dynamic range is awesome. Love it all. Highly recommend. 5 |

[Zipper] This is a small backpack (look at photo reference). Perfect fit for my girlfriend who is 5 foot tall and uses a Sony Mirrorless Camera and a few small lenses. The padding is good for this price range and the structure of the bag is nice and stiff so you feel confident trusting it. 5 |

[0.035 lb] This works great as a reference viewer when taping yourself alone (selfie mode), or if you want to see the framing of what is being recorded while you are in front of the camera. And this is especially helpful if your camera's lcd screen doesn't swivel around. This is the case with a lot of the Sony's or other brands that have screens that just tilt up. I find this accessory a great pairing with my Sony A73 with a screen that only flips up. The mirror is big enough to keep an eye on the framing and what is happening in the background. Fits right on the cold shoe of the camera and works just as advertised. Another nice feature is this has cold shoes on all three sides so I can now add even more accessories attachments, like a small light or small mic, which is great. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review] 5 |

[3.745 lb] Great Case. It's a tight fit, but I have my on camera reference monitor in this with a battery and HDMI Cable 5 |

[Yes] I was looking for a compact stereo speaker/subwoofer combination as a reference/mixdown monitor for my project studio. The Cyber Acoustics CA-3908 perfectly fills the bill! Easy setup with a unique control pod that takes little space - headphone and aux jacks on the pod are a nice touch. The sound is AMAZING - brilliant highs, balanced mid-frequencies, and a VERY responsive sub-woofer make for an outstanding listening experience! For desktop and laptop computers, this is a no-brainer; in fact, if you watch movies on your computer, this system will make soundtracks REALLY come to life! An excellent choice for my studio - thanks, B&H! HIGHLY recommended!! 5 |

[1800:1] I am a professional cinematographer, I use this as an on-cam monitor, in addition to a 17inch reference monitor. Great monitor for the money, looks sturdy, all accessories included, various battery plates appreciated. It does not feel or look cheap. Used it for two weeks so far, with a Sony FS7, no glitches. Nice waveform and other exposure monitoring tools. I power it off the camera battery with a p-tap to DC connector wire. Everything works as advertised. Brightness outside is reasonable, but not incredible. With the supplied top/side hood (which is well built, btw) it is ok, but I will add another piece of black board on the bottom so as to cut all glare. Nice zoom feature, plus peaking, since I mostly use it for checking focus. Colors also look quite close to the truth. The 5 star rating is also in regard to the very affordable price for a full HD of its size. 5 |

[7 to 24 VDC] I use this monitor to reference live feed from the video switcher in my school news studio. The monitor is bright, crisp, and has onboard tools that are very helpful. The histogram allows me to dial in iris settings for each camera on the fly. The metal exterior is pretty darn nice for a sub $500 monitor. Lilliput provides nice added goodies such as a camera adapter, and sunshade. The monitor is boxed very nicely.... reminiscent of unboxing an Apple product. While some may complain that it is only 500 brightness, this is more that sufficient for studio use. I am buying more shortly to provide studio staff additional live views. 5 |

[Yes] Works great! Best bang for your buck if you're just looking for a frame reference monitor. I bought the Bolt 6 module to pair with this. 5 |
