Sony Sound Bar Remote

[Vest System] Finally a remote pan bar for my LANC that works 100% on both my SONY main cameras. This was purchased for my SONY NXCAM NX5U and all functions work flawlessly. PLUS it works 100% with my Sony HVR-Z5U as well. GREAT WORK MANFROTTO! Thanks! ALWAYS PLUG IN FIRST THEN POWER UP CAMERA ! !

[Full-Range] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this sound bar to replace my older competitor sound bar I had for years that had a bulky subwoofer box that I had to find room for. This JBL 300 is just awesome. The bass you can get out of this bar is amazing. It is great for those at-home movie experiences. There is one feature that I just loved, even though I didn't have to use it. It comes with these really nice, thick, heavy metal brackets so you can hang the bar from the wall instead of just having it on a shelf or a mantle. (mine sits on the mantle) The part I thought was an excellent touch was the piece of paper that had the correct spacing for where to place the brackets so you didn't have to measure or anything for perfect placement. As a woman who does most of this on my own, this was a NICE feature! I know it's just a little thing to most, but it's those little things that add up to put things over the top. Another feature that stood out to me was I didn't have to keep switching around my remote controls. I can still use my DirectTv remote for the volume when watching regular TV. It seems to know how to level out the sound bar and the TV automatically. Of course, you can always make adjustments with the Sound Bar remote, but it does a great job for regular TV just on its own. Overall, I am in love with this new bar. Would definitely recommend it!

[10.615 lb] The Denon Home Sound Bar 550 is one fab sounding soundbar! Very musical, immersive and doesn’t take over your living space. True to the Denon audiophile DNA. That said, the remote is a bit chintzy. Such a quality soundbar should be paired with a better remote. Also, status lights give very little info/feedback. You have to listen attentively after selecting a mode change to see if it’s what you like. Yet, I wouldn’t part with the soundbar because sound is first with me.

[5.75 lb] I purchased a Sonos sound bar, subwoofer and surround speakers and spent 6 hours trying to set it up on a Sunday. I called Sonos the next day since tech support wasn’t open on the weekends and after 2.25 hours on the phone with tech support I was told that there was a known compatibility issue with the router supplied by my internet provider and the Sonos sound bar. The Sonos sound bar and subwoofer was returned the next day and after some further research I purchased the Bose 700 sound bar and 700 Bose subwoofer. They were very easy to set up and the sound was awesome. After a few days I decided to get the Bose 700 surround sound speakers. They were very easy to add to the sound system and I was very pleasantly surprised at how much sound came out of such small speakers. The app allows for adjustments to each component. It also comes with a remote that was very easily connected to other devices, which eliminates the need for any other remote. My only complaint is that the remote backlight only stays on for a few seconds so you constantly have to move the remote to keep the light on. Overall I highly recommend the Bose 700 components!

[11 oz] Purchased this sound bar because the built-in speakers on the TV in my bedroom just didn't cut it. I didn't need a lot of bells and whistles but this unit has a few nice touches anyway. Just plug it in, connect to the audio outputs from your TV (if you are not going to use the optical connection you'll need to purchase a patch cable) and turn it on with the included remote. From that point on you don't really need the remote for the sound bar, everything is controlled from the TV remote. It turns itself on when it detects the presence of audio and turns itself off about 5 minutes after the audio stops. Enable the Bluetooth feature of the sound bar and you can also stream music from your iPad or phone to it as well. It does everything I need it to do and does it well! Recommended.

[40 W] I was looking for a smaller sound bar than most and this one just fit. It is well designed and looks great below my TV. I was able to sync it to my TV remote so can ajust the sound and TV with one clicker.

[9.525 lb] It is an excellent sound bar, easy to use and setup, the remote is also great. It does fill the bedroom nicely with sound, you can also hear the lows. Definetly a great buy. Will probably purchase the separate sub for some extra punch. Thank you, Polk Audio.

[250 W] I purchased this sound bar to use with my Sony XR65A80k. The setup was extremely simple, pretty much plug and play. The center speaker feature for compatible Sony TV's is great. Dialogue is crystal clear and the rest of the sound is full and solid, even without a sub. I can see that if you're a fan of loud booming bass or stream music through it, adding one would be beneficial. Even without a sub I feel the bass is nice and full though. Purchasing through B&H was a pleasure as always.
