Sony Zeiss 24 70 F4 Oss

[0.95 lb] 1. under 1' minimum focus distance - thats better than the zeiss 24-70 f4 which is 1.3' 2. 10.3 oz - thats 30% less than the zeiss 3. OSS 4. The lens protrudes and retracts only a few mm so flying this on a gimbal is no problem 5. its cheap - super cheap 2nd hand 6. it doesnt feel cheap, it doesnt feel premium but def not cheap 7. I cant tell the corners are soft but if you can then get a GM zoom or get some primes thats what they are for

[f/4] Feels more like a F4 G-master. Traded my 24-105 F4 OSS for the extra wide angle and slight weight advantage. Was surprised to find out how sharp a zoom in this range can be. Steady shot feature is not missed at all. Very happy with my purchase decision. I must mention that my first copy had a noise issue during large focus change which could not be tolerated for video shoots. This copy is totally quiet.

[Empty] I bought to wear on my hip with my Sony 24-70 F4 GMII lens. They are compatible. It's much bigger than I expected it to be with respect to wearing it in a belt loop but that on me. I should have realizede it would have some size to it. Otherwise a very usuable product that will last a long time.

[0.075 lb] I lost my lens cap to my Zeiss Sony FE 4.0 24- 70 which I use all the time. The Sensei rear lens cap is cheaper and just as reliable / sturdy. B&H let me try it on my lens before purchasing which I really appreciate so if you need to replace yours consider saving money and going with this one.

[10 x 5.5 x 5"] This is a beautiful lens! Much nicer on my A7r II than the 24-70 F2.8 A - mount with an adapter, and much nice than the Sony/Zeiss 24-70 F4 lens I have been using. The auto-focus appears to be instantaneous to me! Amazing! The lens was designed for beautiful bokeh and resolution, and it aces those. It also has great color, similar to the Sony/Zeiss lenses. VERY PLEASED!!

[3 oz (85 g)] It works with my new Sony 70-200 f2.8 GM OSS II perfectly!!

[0.06 lb] Bought this to go with my newly purchased Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS Lens and for a mere extra $500ish I've also got a 400mm lense. Works great!

[4.4 oz (124 g)] It is well-made. I can mount my Z9 with 24-70 F4 lens. I also use it to hold my video light.

[Full-Frame] On my D750 it was always swapping between 24-120 f4 and 70-200 f2.8. This new lens goes much wider than the 70-200 and the extra length missing on the 24-120. Weight feels simular to the 70-200. Not light but comfortable to use on the Z8. This is the lens that lives on this body until I need really wide or long. Love this lens.

[Foam] Bought this for my A7 with 16-35 f4 and 24-70 f4 with added trekpak. Fits perfectly with room for spare battery.
