Sony Zeiss 24 70Mm F4

[0.04 lb] I use this to put my 82mm ND’s on my SONY 24-70mm F4. Works great.

[0.77 lb] While the lens is not as fast as the 24-70mm f4 kit lens or the F2.8 24-70mm it is a great option for when you want to travel lite. Using this on the z7 will mean you operate much like the Z50 with just 20 megapixels. But that is great when you need to pack lite.

[2.225 lb] I really like this bag. I use it to pack my Nikon z6 ii, with f4 24-70mm lens, and two 2.8 35mm and a 50mm lens. I attach a tripod to the bag. It still feels compact but not as compact as the 5L I have (but I would bet the 6L) instead. I am happy with it.

[0.95 lb] 1. under 1' minimum focus distance - thats better than the zeiss 24-70 f4 which is 1.3' 2. 10.3 oz - thats 30% less than the zeiss 3. OSS 4. The lens protrudes and retracts only a few mm so flying this on a gimbal is no problem 5. its cheap - super cheap 2nd hand 6. it doesnt feel cheap, it doesnt feel premium but def not cheap 7. I cant tell the corners are soft but if you can then get a GM zoom or get some primes thats what they are for

[Snap Fastener] I use this with my Sony a7iii w/ L bracket (similar to #FIFLA73) and the Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 GM lens (w/ hood reversed). It fits perfectly!

[Camouflage] This is a nice quality and affordable case. I have a Sony a7rii with 24-70mm lens a Sony Fx3 with a 16-35mm lens. Both fit perfectly, not too snug and not too tight either. Lenscoat has many different sizes with this type of case, so just make sure you get the right size. Highly recommended.

[Autofocus] I shoot with a full complement of Canon DSLR's and lots of Canon L lenses. Recently, I've been exploring Sony's offerings to see if they can fulfill the demanding needs of a full-time professional shooter. The Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM Lens is outstanding. It's a big lens. It's bigger and weighs more than my EF Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 II L lens. But I think it's every bit as sharp if not sharper than the Canon. It feels well built and is excellent on my A7r ii body. I'll admit I'm a bit concerned by how close the front element is with very little to protect it. I use a good quality 82mm UV filter as protection. For shots that really matter I'll take that off.

[0.13 lb] If your looking to save money on a lens compared the Sonys very own 24-70mm. It offers I would say 95% of what it the Sony does for half the price!! That extra 5% isn't worth the extra. Auto-Focus and Sharpness are both on point with this lens and you have a closer focal distance compared to the Sony. Def worth it!
