[Top handle] I have used this lens on the Nikon D850, D810 and Z7ii. It has the legendary Zeiss build quality and can produce very sharp images with beautiful color and contrast. The brokeh is nice in a way that only Zeiss can render, and the manual focus ring is precise in a way my Nikon lenses are not. This lens is also small and light for a Zeiss prime. Good for semi-wide landscape, portrait, and studio work. While this lens is not as sharp as the new Zeiss 35mm f/1.4 prime, it is still able to produce good micro detail with the classic Zeiss 3D look. The sweet spot is f/10, for highly detailed Landscapes and Close In. My Zeiss 25mm f/2 is an excellent lens and this 35mm is just as good, I think. I would highly recommend this if you do not want to shell out twice as much cash for the f/1.4, but need the 35mm FOV and the Zeiss look in an F-Mount.

[35mm] I have been using the 2/35mm Milvus lens, primarily for my work. It is small, light, and a very nice lens. It's not as sharp in the corners as some of the other ZEISS lenses, but it works great for my work. I have been spoiled by the edge-to-edge sharpness of the 1.4/55mm Otus, 1.4/85Otus, 2/135mm Apo Sonnar, and the new 1.4/25mm Milvus lenses. After reading comments about this 1.4/35mm Milvus lens by Lloyd Chambers, I realized I needed to try it. The famous "ZEISS Look", gorgeous color, and spectacular micro-contrast make this a keeper. It's long-throw focusing ring makes for incredibly accurate focusing, especially when using Live View at 100%. It is perfectly suited to high-res cameras such as my Nikon D850. It's much bigger and heavier than the 2/35mm Milvus, but it's worth it for my landscape images. I'll still use the 2/35mm Milvus for work, which it's perfect for. But for near-Otus quality, the 1.4/35mm Milvus is superb.

[Full Frame] I have a Sony Zeiss 1.4 which is also a great lens. Compared to the Loxia, however, it is heavy and huge. I love this lens for its simplicity and high quality compact metal build. Coupled with my A7R4 and A9ii the manual focus is fast and superb. The camera goes directly into focus magnification and peaking when you turn the lens barrel, making it as fast as an autofocus lens without all the extra weight and technology. Takes me back to why I got into photography in the first place. Likely will now pick up the Loxia 85 for the same reasons. This lens pops. Amazing sharpness even wide open and the classic Zeiss color. Get it.

[1x USB-C] This has to be the perfect gimbal for my set up by far. It carrys my Sony a7siii w/ 35mm 1.4 lens and an adapter strapped on to it with ease. Fast to balance and light weight. The trigger, the wheel, and the second handle makes it very convenient and easier to use. And most of all...great great price!

[0.92 lb] I've only used the Fotodiox Sony e to Nikon Z briefly one day with the Sony 35mm f/1.4 GM . It has tracked my subject in 3-d tracking perfectly. It picked up the face and both eyes tracking as the subject walked around. I will be testing it much more in the next few weeks on my Z9 with many different lenses of Sony e mount. If things change I'll redo my review.

[7.8 x 5 x 4.7"] I purchased this lens to use alongside my Sony 50mm f/1.4 GM as 35mm is not a focal length I use enough to warrant buying the 35mm GM as well. I used this lens for several full photo sessions and it autofocuses quickly and accurately, and is as sharp as you'd want it to be! I have no problem using this lens for client work and delivering images taken with it. Highly recommend!

[Sony E] Basically 90% of the Sony 35mm 1.4 for less than half the price. Sony has slightly better contrast wide open and much better bokeh all around. The bokeh on this lens is good, but compared to the Sony its a bit rough on a busy background. Sony 1.4 has some of the best bokeh ever for a 35mm lens, so its not too surprising that this lens cant keep up. Neither can Sigma.

[0.96 lb] Perfect 35mm for Sony. Having used both the Samyang 35mm 1.4 and 1.8, the 1.8 is objectively better and also happens to be much lighter and costs less. The 1.8 has great autofocus and image quality whereas the 1.4 has horrible autofocus and lesser image quality.
