[0.09 lb] I bought the 58mm to fit on my Zeiss 50mm/1.4 Planar T*. I pair it with my Z6 as my designated B&W camera body. The filter makes all the difference in the world in both landscape and people rendering wonder contrast. I seldom remove it from the lens. 5 |

[46 mm] I bought this lens cap for the Zeiss EF 50mm f/1.4 and it works perfectly! Not too tight or too loose. Highly recommend over the bad Zeiss lens caps! 5 |

[APS-C] I work with the A7RII but I bought it more for my A6300 as a 42mm walk around lens. In the A6300 works great. Fast autofocus, sharp and accurate it was a great decision as a 50mm for my a6300, But i also test it in my A7RII and compare it with my FE 24-70 F4 zeiss. The 28mm is faster (f2.0) so you can have more blurred backgrounds, the sharpness is outstanding even in f/2.0, and great until F/11. Does have a noticeable barrel distortion but that is not so bad for me, because I shoot just in RAW and it is a one button fix. I think that for being cheap to keep sharpness they had to avoid the barrel distortion and some chromatic aberrations fixes. But in the end. A great great lens for the price. As we know the zeiss colors are more rich, but this little gem gets great results too, so if you are a RAW shooter you don't gonna have problems and gonna love this lens. But if you just use it to shoot JPG and not make any post in software maybe the barrel distortion and some chromatic aberrations (less than my Zeiss 85mm F/1.4 or 50mm F/1.4 or even the zeiss A mount 24-70 F/2.8) can be a negative point for you. For me it is jut Perfect!!!, remember that the Sony Zeiss distagon 35mm F/1.4 is big, bulky and heavy, and costs more than three times the 28mm, so depends of your final use, this can be your all around street lens for your APS-C or your full frame lightweight Prime wide angle lens. Great quality Sony cheap prime option!! 5 |

[0.5 oz / 14.2 g] I'm a pro video shooter and I chose this Zeiss 50mm, 1.4 over the Sigma ART 50mm, 1.4, and the Veydra 35mm E-mount 2.2. I tested it for a few days against the other two. The Zeiss and the Sigma were about equal for resisting lens flare. I own the Veydra and had seen the flares on occasion and was able to duplicate it in my own testing environment. When the Veydra flared, the other two did not. The Zeiss is manual focus only (like the Veydra) but for video shooting that's all I need. What's more (or less) is the small size of the Zeiss. So easy to carry even in a pocket while running and gunning. The manual focusing of the Zeiss was so smooth and long travelled that I love it. It's mine now! 5 |

[Full Frame] I have a Sony Zeiss 1.4 which is also a great lens. Compared to the Loxia, however, it is heavy and huge. I love this lens for its simplicity and high quality compact metal build. Coupled with my A7R4 and A9ii the manual focus is fast and superb. The camera goes directly into focus magnification and peaking when you turn the lens barrel, making it as fast as an autofocus lens without all the extra weight and technology. Takes me back to why I got into photography in the first place. Likely will now pick up the Loxia 85 for the same reasons. This lens pops. Amazing sharpness even wide open and the classic Zeiss color. Get it. 5 |

[0.39 lb] I have only taken this out once but the results so far have been beautiful. In context, I've owned the Canon 85mm 1.2 and the Canon 85mm 1.4 back in my dslr days and the Sigma DG DN 85mm 1.4 lens most recently. I shoot a lot of on location portraits and found the 85mm to be too tight on many of the locations I shoot. With that, I reluctantly traded in the Sigma on the Sony 50mm 1.2 lens. I didn't have the funds to keep both. (The Sigma is an amazing lens btw). After shooting the Sony 50mm (another great lens) I found I really missed the compression of the 85mm focal length when I did have the room, so I started looking around for a sleeper and I found it! Im still recovering from the price tag of the Sony 50mm so I was looking for something cheaper than the Sigma to have on hand for those occasions I wanted an 85mm. This Tokina fits the bill perfectly. It is a simple, no bells and whistles piece of glass that takes images comparable to any of the best lenses Ive used. The difference between 1.8 and 1.4 is negligible at best and this is built like a tank with its metal construction. I got it on sale for $399 and is a steal at this price. After shooting this I couldn't justify spending the money on the Sigma again which was one of my all time favorites. It is a very basic lens but the images are awesome even when shot wide open at 1.8. 5 |

[Brass, Aluminum] I use it on a Sony A7s. Tried the following lenses and it worked perfectly. Nikon 50mm f/1.4G Nikon 70-200mm f/4 G VR Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 VC Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art Tripod leg works well. 5 |

[7.8 x 5 x 4.7"] I purchased this lens to use alongside my Sony 50mm f/1.4 GM as 35mm is not a focal length I use enough to warrant buying the 35mm GM as well. I used this lens for several full photo sessions and it autofocuses quickly and accurately, and is as sharp as you'd want it to be! I have no problem using this lens for client work and delivering images taken with it. Highly recommend! 5 |

[5.3 oz (150 g)] Sigma's MC-11 turns my beloved 50MM 1.4 Art lens on a Sony A7S into a fully functional Sony lens to take advantage of ALL the great Sony automation and focusing features - ESPECIALLY AUTOFOCUS This is a Genius product. CANON needs to do the same so their fabulous lenses can be used on Sony bodies as well as Canon. Worth every penny 5 |
