Speaker For Shower

[5.1] So small but so powerful! And it's very cool that it's waterproof, it can be used as a shower speaker!

[0.91 lb] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like how JBL upped the functionality of this smaller speaker. Previous small speakers wouldn't have extra functions like skip ahead a song, or back a song. This one does. Previous speakers would basically just have play/pause and volume. It's nice to have that if you would use this as like a shower speaker or something and don't want your phone in with you. It is rated as water proof to a degree, 30 minutes at a meter, so a shower is fine. It has a nice heavy feel and you can tell with the sound, suprisingly loud and good bass sound. I also like that you can now pair it to other speakers in it's class, creating a stereo sound. I might have to get another one to make use of that option. Really sharp look. The clip is heavy duty enough that I'm not worried about it breaking or not holding up. There's a JBL Portable app for controlling the sound EQ which is nice. They have a "playtime boost" mode where it's louder, and also saves battery which it does at the expense of the EQ sound. So that mode sounds a little tinny, but it's definitely louder and would maybe be good for podcast listening or audio books where you want a little more volume. The back has padded grips so you can set it on it's back and it won't wreck the finish or anything like that.

I bought a single RC6s, installed it about 1' away from the shower (these are supposed to tolerate high humidity) and connected it to an audio engine N22 amp. I hooked up the tv and also an old smartphone with Pandora and I now have an awesome bathroom setup. Great sound for a single in-ceiling speaker. Some songs come across "boomy" that have a lot of bass but that is nit-picking. Does anyone else even offer a 2 channel ceiling speaker?

[30 W] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I primarily use this as a shower speaker. The strap is very useful. I have mine hanging from a towel hook. The battery life is pretty good as I have had this for almost a week and have not needed to recharge yet. Amazingly clear sound for such a compact package. Spoken word audio comes through crystal clear and there is minimal bass distortion in hard electronic music.

[300 mA] I have a bunch of Hue lights already and bought these for my bathroom. I now have a variety of colorful settings to shower with, and I love it. They are fairly bright, even when using various colors. I would recommend.

[7.76 lb] The Sangean H205 Shower Radio is the best of its kind. I just replaced mine after years of use (and it was a refurbished model!) It offers multiple station options, great sound, weather alerts, and is extremely durable. Comes with external; antenna and carrying strap. You just need to replace the D batteries once in a while.

[Black] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The moment I thought this thing wasn’t working, I was very shocked by the quality. I put on The Incredibles to test the sound and took a shower sometime during the middle of the film. I thought somebody was breaking into my apartment or lightning struck nearby. I crept out of the shower with caution, only to be pleasantly surprised that is was the Flexus Sub 100! Performs best with action and horror films.

[Universal] Tired of using baggies to cover the camera in a rain shower. This unit was way cheaper than the expensive brand I never used. Simple, solid, does the job.
