Speaker Wire For Outdoor Speakers

Asthetically i am very happy with the wall brackets design I bought Acoustimas 10 Ser.V speakers and Bracket UB-20 Series-II. As per instruction while fixing we found that the Speaker wire is getting bend to 90 deg twice, the cutout/ Slot is made at wrong place. believe me it hurted me lot after paying so much for Bracket. i request Bose to provide us justification why is it so?and speakers wire will not break. believe me for 1 week i am just thinking to bend wire or not?hence i am not able to install upon bose confirmation only i will install. in the cost of Bose Bracket there are other companies which provide the Speakers also and after paying so much of Cost if we get the Improper Item then it is not good. Bose to intervene the Design for Slots location and avoid Speaker wires bending i am very very big fan of Bose but got upset and unhappy due to this hence i am writing

[0.235 lb] I used these speakers with JBL 19cs subwoofers for a weight room facility sound system. The total system consisted of 6 - 26c speakers and 4 - 19cs subwoofers. Wiring is made easy with the removable terminal blocks and passthrough wiring. Basically each speaker connects to each other in a line. This installation method reduces cost for speaker wire and labor involved with running extra wire. The terminal blocks have 4 wire holes. For the first speaker in the line will use holes 2 & 3 for the line connecting to the amplifier. Then a wire is ran from speaker 1 to speaker 2. Holes 1 & 4 from speaker 1 connects to holes 2 & 3 on speaker 2. This continues for the entire line. Be sure to properly power these speakers. Both the 19cs and 26c need 140 watts of power. In our installation we used 2 amplifiers splitting the system into left and right sides of the room. Since each amp had 2 outputs of 500 watts for each channel. This provided some headroom for the speakers. On both amps output 1 was was the high and output 2 was the low. Output 1 had 3 26c speakers and output 2 had 2 19cs subwoofers. These amplifiers had a built in crossover feature that splits the signal into high and low frequences which is essential for installing a system like this. A xlr splitter was used to convert the output from the mixer (1 xlr) to inputs for both amps (2 xlr). A cutout template is provided for cutting ceiling tiles. Once tiles are put back in the ceiling the installation can be done without access into the ceiling. The speaker is designed to push up through the cutout in the ceiling tile and clamps down to the C bracket (included). Make sure to have someone assist with installing, these can be insalled with one person but can be difficult for one person to lift, attach wires, put into place, and screw down holders. Overall these speakers work as expected and would buy again. They install nicely and end product looks professional. Nothing less to be expected from JBL.

[MDF] I bought these Sony Dolby Atoms speakers a few months ago and I more than happy, they look and sound great. The build quality is great the speaker box been wrapped with a flat black vinyl wrapped and looks amazing, on the back the speaker wire input are wire clips sorry no banana inputs, also I was very surprised how heavy these speakers are, trust me they have some weight to them. I believe the maximum watts are 100 and the Ohm's are 6. Just match these babies with the Sony tower speakers and you are good to go..

[10 to 100 W RMS] Our old 20 year outdoor speakers finally died. So after about 6 hours of Internet browsing off to the store I went. After listening in the store, it seemed this was the ONLY outdoor speaker that even approached my need for clean sound thoughout a eclectic range of music. To be honest the on the "metal Shelf" in store demo the speaker's performance, although the best out of the outdoor batch in the store, seemed to offer only at best, a compromise in performance to gain the weatherabilty. The in store demo was decieving...Upon installation over our deck area, my wife and I were stunned, both our jaws dropped...Instead of a the expected mush of voices and sound elements we could hear individual instruments and beautiful voice qualities and inflections we only heard before in our indoor system.. The apparent frequency response was incredible as well, way beyond our expectations. This was accomplished BY ONLY CHANGING TO theses new Atrium 8 SDI speakers. We played a Mahler Symphony, some 90's rock, a movie soundtrack from Beasts of the Southern Wild and a wonderful jazz vocal group called Paris Combo. Every piece was beautifully depicted and actually dimensioned with only our two speaker setup. My wife's commented out of her excitement and delight, " Oh honey this sounds so wonderul, We have to throw a party !!!! Thank you Polk Audio for lots of wonderful soundful parties to come!!!!

[38.815 lb] I had experience with using the 12 and 15 inch version of these speakers earlier this year with a band I was playing in, and when the need arose for my jazz duo to play an outdoor concert, I got a pair of these. I auditioned them at home for a week, and found the sound to be expansive, clear, and full-range. I used them for the first time this past weekend at an outdoor fund-raiser concert, and they performed magnificently. For once, vocals and my partner's trumpet were clear and cut through the mix. I ported my piano and my backing tracks thru it as well, and everything sounded balanced and clean. This allowed us to use my amp/powered speaker as a monitor, so we had the best of both worlds here. I cannot recommend these speakers enough. They are extremely lightweight given their quality, which is a must for me, and while they were not cheap, they are a great value, costing less than comparable speakers of other, famous brands. The other speakers I considered were heavier and just as expensive, and I doubt they would have sounded any better. And I am considering getting a third one of these to use as a floor wedge monitor for larger venues and larger bands. I'm happy with these and if you need a larger-sized speaker, the 12 and 15 inch variety are also a best bet.

These bad boys can bring a thump to your backyard like you've never known. But not just the bass. The entire spectrum is extremly smooth. Thier wide horizontal coverage also creates a great stereo image all over the place. Three different mounting options mean you can fly them anywhere you want them. Even the wife says the expense was justified.

[5.975 lb] I purchased these for replacement speaker units for an old set of OWI La Rockers outdoor speakers and fit perfectly with no installation problems of any kind. The sound is excellent as well.
