[Aluminum] I had to submit a review because of the other review here that says this Matthews clamp (butterfly holder) doesn't open to 1" tube. It absolutely does. It opens to 1" with an extra 1/8" to spare. Square aluminum tube stock can be misleading. Depending on the thickness and ID vs OD, you could easily find a square tube that doesn't quite fit... BUT any normal 1" square tube... does. As for the other points on functionality... it's standard Matthews... built like a tank. So far so good.

[Glass] This is a great 100 mm filter holder for square or rectangular filters. It can hold 3 filters. Easy filter rotation with well designed rotation plate. The filters are held firmly, and yet, they can be slid and adjusted easily.

[Multi Coated] I like this Split ND filter better than the square ones in the holder. It screws on securely and its is simple to turn to line up for the image. A good filter that darkens the sky just the right amount at 4 stops.

[0.32 lb] NiSi has commented that this filter holder is only compatible with the Nikon Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S, but not only is this a terrific 100mm square filter holder for that lens, it also works perfectly with the Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S and the Z 70-200mm f/2.8 S as well. I'm also very happy to report that you can use it on the Z 50mm f/1.2 S. Nice one-stop shop if you're using any of those lenses and a fan of 100mm square filters.

[11.4" (3:2)] This is my first attempt at a square filter setup. The V6 holder is very easy to install and has various step down rings for adjusting to different thread sizes. The included enhanced circular polarizer is ok and kind of limited on the polarizing effect. Definitely adds some weight to the setup but it's worth it.

[0.31 lb] I own LEE IRND 100mm square filters that happen to come with foam gaskets to avoid light leakage. I was looking into the new LEE solution for the Nikon Z 14-24mm and it appears that it has an integrated gasket into the holder so you have to buy NEW FOAMLESS filters to use with that holder! I was heartbroken. But then I came across this NiSi filter holder and I decided to give it a try with my current gasketed filters. To my surprise, IT DOES NOT VIGNETTE ! Not even at 14mm! I am VERY satisfied because this filter holder allowed me to keep using my existing 100mm square filters and literally saved me hundreds of dollars in new foamless glass if I were to go for the LEE option. Very recommended!

[Glass] I've been using the canon EF 11-24 square filter holder with the 180mm square filters. The holder is not very secure and dropped the ND64 glass on to rocks (painful added expense) It fits both the canon lens and the 95mm Hasselblad lenses (with the 95mm to EF adapter) I mostly shoot with my Hasselblad and so graded ND filters are not required. These filters for Nikon fit perfectly on to the Hasselblad 95-112 filter adapter which gives me very fast swap times between filters. Love the new work flow, good with hiking, good with cold hands, less expensive and much more usable.

[4.05 lb] I use this reflector holder to secure a 3-foot square foam core board, balanced along the center axis. It is well made and the counterweight helps with balance. Very pleased with it and would purchase again.
