Ssd Disk Enclosure

[1x 2.5"] Does exactly what it's supposed to. I use it to connect an external SSD for use as a scratch disk.

[5.825 lb] Great product, feels incredibly solid for safekeeping of precious, precious data. Very thorough documentation on assembly of the unit, I didn’t have the usual new hardware anxiety plugging it in for the first time. There was a bit of a learning curve, which was totally operator error, getting the enclosure up and running in Windows. Be sure to initialize through disk management and not through storage volume. I set up a RAID 1 array through the latter because I read what turned out to be a questionable third party tutorial. What followed was a lot of frustration trying to mount the drives. The support chat with the manufacturer pointed me in the right direction and I reset the enclosure, and properly set up the HDDs through disk management. It’s been running like a top since!

[2 TB] I used SSD disk for 15.6 Pavilion 15-cs3073cl Multi-Touch Laptop .

[0.32 lb] This enclosure works great for me, it's just what I needed, I use it as a external photo drive, with a 4TB SSD.

[0.42 lb] Amazing! I took one of the SSD's from my PC and inserted it into this enclosure and it worked immediately. Hazel-free

[Bus Powered] Bought this as the expendable disk as you cannot repair the SSD in a MAC Studio. I use this for swapping large video files and any file that doesn't need to be on the boot disk. When this disk reaches end of life due to number of overwrites it's easy to replace. As for speed, it does everything I expected it to. I've used it for several months and from my experience I would highly recommend.

[0.1 lb] Was able successfully clone Windows from original hard-disk and replace it with this OWC SSD on my new laptop. Time will show how long it will last - but having OWC SSDs on my MacPro2008 and MacPro2010: Bravo OWC!

[1x 2.5" Bay] It has been running pfsense for over a year without any issues. Paired with 8BG of Crucial memory and an SSD disk is powerful enough to run three INLINE interfaces of Snort and also pfBlockerNG.

This SSD is so small that I don't know if I have a pocket small enough to hold it. It's also really fast. I am doing ALL my FCPX editing on this disk and it speeds up my workflow.
