[Yes] As any SSL product, this mixer/interface is very well built and has awesome sonic quality! It is definitely worth the price tag! There is a small learning curve, but for anyone whose worked with analogue mixers before and digital audio interfaces, there should be no problem. As a mac user, I definitely appreciate not having to install any drivers and being able to just connect to my iMac or Macbook and start recording right away. I think this product is perfect for anyone who wants a complete recording interface, plans to add analog sound to their recordings or mixes, or plans to add external gear.

[2x Knob] Amazing quality interface by the legends over at SSL! I feel like John Lennon back at Abbey Road studios when I record with this piece! But seriously it’s that classic SSL look, feel and most importantly sound that makes this really the best interface in it even near and above this price point! Thanks so much to the kind folks @ B&H for taking care of me and shipping my SSL2 so fast!!!

[Up to 24-Bit] I found a USB interface shootout online, and listened to the recorded samples for multiple units. I really liked the sound of this SSL and had heard good things about the Black Lion Audio Revolution, so I ordered them both to compare. I ended up preferring the sound of the SSL. The Black Lion sounded oversaturated to me while the SSL was more my style: an honest sound, without being clinical. I like it without the 4k setting, but that's a nice option to have, and the RCA outputs are actually perfect for my amp/monitor setup. The pre-amp gain is clean, though I add a Cloudlifter between my sE ribbon mic and the interface. My Senn mics sounded great through the SSL too. Finally, I love that there are two headphone outs! Would recommend this interface, it's a great value.

[1x USB-C] My first Audio Interface. I use these to connect 2 KRK Rokit 5 G4 studio monitors XLR to 1/4 into to MOTU. I can also connect my previous monitors through the RCA connection which other interfaces at this price do not have. These also have MIDI connectors which I guess you can connect an MPC or other sampler. I can also connect my keyboard and a mic through the 2 front interfaces. Most connection options for any audio interface at this price. The interface connects to and is powered by your computer through the USB. It does not include any audio cables. If you just need to connect your monitors to your pc or laptop, this is more that sufficient.

[3.255 lb] This audio interface replaced my Universal Audio Volt 2, which was a great interface, but I wanted a little more. This along with the bundled software and plug-ins has been a game changer for me. Once I get a little more comfortable with the UA experience, I'll likely be stepping up to an Apollo Twin.

[1, DB9] I had been using a USB audio interface to feed my M-Audio monitor speakers from my Mac. I rarely used the jnput functionality (XLR inputs for mics, etc.). It then stopped working - would not stay connected. After trying everything I could think of (cables, usb ports on my computer, ...) I figured I needed a new device and looked for an output only device. I found this one. It's rock solid and delivers great sound. It does this one thing and does it well. Plus, I like that it draws power from the USB cable, so no extra power cable is required. I've not tried it with headphones, but for some, it may be a problem that there's no separate volume control for the headphone output.
