Ssl Live Console

[External PSU] I am using the 603's to record live music in small (100-300 person) venues. I usually locate the pair near the front-of-house sound console (on a stand as high as I can get away with to minimize picking up audience chatter) and mix with a direct feed from the console. I am very happy with the results.

[Black] This case is perfectly designed for live and studio use. It is so easy to open and close the case and within seconds its ready to use. The hydraulic lift is a must have since the console is heavy. Having the case function both for storage/transport as well as for a built in console stand is so helpful. The quality of the build is top notch and the rolling castors are sturdy, easily move and designed to flip outward to provide greater stability of the case when it is functioning as a stand for the console. It is expensive but I feel it is worth the price.

[0.145 lb] I use this in a live entertainment situation, and having my phone close attached to my lighting console makes life on the road just that much easier.

[DCI 4K at 60] I use as a small mixer for small gigs, and as a submixer for an integrated multi HH wirless system. Also for sub mix for live recording - pre console/DAW Small, inexpensive. XLR outputs which most boards in its calls do not have and reason I bought this over others. The one knob compressor is a nice feature for the dynamic mics to add gain without out board gear in performing applications. I wouldnt use it for recording as its preset ratios and threshold. Preamps are not as good as its higher end models, but at this price range and for live use in smaller club application its a perfect board with the versatility that surpasses others in its class. Use for performing as a solo or small combo and its perfect. use only as a pre sub to console without copression in recording application

[0.365 lb] It took a little tweaking to get the right gain settings with the audio console, but once it was set, we got it sounding great. This church is using this for their live stream of their church services. Have a blessed day!

[1x USB-C] I'm an ssl guy...and I'm impressed! I honestly bought this for the mic...I have a 2 already...it's a bonus I can chain them together! Expected the headphones to be bad...but I've added them to my listening chain...the mic is warm and useful for anything you'd record a vocal mic with...I was afraid it would be podcast quality...but I found that not the case either...add that 4k for that sound...These guys not only hit a home run...they knocked this one out of the park!!
