[12.65 lb] A step up from the standard boom, works well with a 6 lb microphone. 5 |

[0.1 lb] The logic behind this product is pure simplicity. If you are working gigs regularly, it's easy to see how much time and fiddling you'll save by not having to thread on (and off) dozens of microphone clips per job. Plus, it will eliminate the possibility of damaging the fine 5/8-27 threads from accidental cross-threading. The hex-shaped pin prevents the microphone from spinning / loosening itself when attached horizontally to a boom arm. And Triad-Orbit was smart enough to make this work with any standard mic stand or boom -- not some proprietary hardware attachment. They provide adaptors for 3/8 European threaded stands, and a 1/4-20 threaded stud for cameras -- plus an extra set of set screws in case you lose any in the backstage darkness! I was impressed with the high-quality packaging, and the couplers themselves seem to be manufactured to a high standard. I've never regretted buying high quality tools, and this is no exception. I'll be buying more. 5 |

[Screw-Knob] I have used this combination boom and stand in the studio for more years than I can remember. It's like a Neumann microphone...it's not a studio without one. Tuff, smooth and easy to use. Nothing bad to say about it. 5 |

[Chrome ] It's just the right length for my application. I have a tight working area for audio. I have the boom on a microphone stand behind the rack and it comes through from the back, so that the microphone is positioned directly over the mixer. Plenty of adjustments make it fit almost any application. 5 |

[5/8"-27 Male] I needed a boom arm but not the stand to hold it, so this was perfect. It's substantial enough that I can trust it to hold the microphone, and it telescopes smoothly. 5 |

[5/8" Receiver] This works great and allows me to attach my microphone clip to the boom on my sturdy light stand. The sturdy set up means that the microphone stand will not fall on expensive instruments. 5 |

[Plastic] The K&M 252 has proven to be my favorite microphone stand. I ended up buying six of them. I work strictly mobile, and never know exactly what situations I will encounter. The 252 has 3 sections in the base and two in the boom. I can place a mic near the floor, or high enough above a seated musician for a spot mic. I can record a piano on half-stick without removing the boom, or high and low over the strings. The stand is surprisingly heavy, which lends great stability when the boom is extended. 5 |

[5/8"-27 Male] I purchased this low height drum stand with boom to use for my particular Desk Top Microphone setup. I can extend the boom fully and it will still support a Rode NT-1 mic with the large, lyre-type Rycote shock basket, if the boom is extended over one of the tripod legs. 5 |

[0.97 lb] I use this product on a boom microphone stand that sits over a keyboard that sits on an organ. The boom gives me more flexibility in being able to adjust it without being a mile away, or in the way, like a straight microphone stand. It securely holds the iPad in place. Now as far as how I use it...I find that it works better, at least on the boom like I use it inverted. Instead of the two holders on the bottom of the iPad, they are on top. This allows me to tilt it like I want to. And maybe I'm wrong, but this was the only way I could get the iRig into the iPad without the holder creating an obstruction. There really isn't much not to like about the product. Just set it up in a manner that you are comfortable and are able to make all connections you need to make. 5 |
