[Cement White] First off, you need to look at the product dimensions and visualize the size of this product. I have another 150 quart cooler that looks tiny sitting next to the Pelican. But, that size is needed to provide the insulation that gives you extended ice life. I was tired of wasting money on ice during camping trips, and this has fixed the problem. [1 lb] A perfect size both in dimensions & in number of photos it can hold. Every trip usually adds at least another 100 shots so each album is one trip. Easier to share with people than looking on little screens.

[Lifetime] This case is solidly put together. Make sure to note the exterior dimensions of the case, so you will not be surprised by the size & weight. Currently, I hav a MOTU 896 MKIII, 8 pre, and a Presonus 1818 VSL mounted with two open spaces. Great if you need to travel with your setup. Also, included the screws to mount hardware.

The size is larger than a dedicated USB 3.0 drive; but, I like that I can download in the field using USB 3.0 (or FW800 with a Thunderbolt adapter) and then copy directly to my MacPro using FW800. I've used these in the field with a 2009 MBP and tested them with my 2012 11 Macbook Air. On the Air, read/write speeds on both ports takes less than a minute for 5 GB's of raw 1D Mark IV files.
