Steadicam Camera Stabilizer Rig

[40 x 15 x 4"] I use this primarily for sending video from a camera operator with a steadicam rig to a tomos monitor/recorder. I also have used for feeding HDMI from a laptop to a projector in crowded public meeting setting. Worked great. Not one glitch.

[4.0 lb / 1.8 kg] This bag is made for a specific camera and a steadicam rig. But I bought it because my camera and lens are long. They fit perfectly in the padded section. There is plenty of room in the rest of the bag for audio cables(I'm not wireless yet!) microphone cases, gaffer's tape, gear bags, and the battery chargers I take to shoots. The bag is huge. The fact that it is a Porta Brace is just a plus. The price is very reasonable. The bag is built like a tank and I expect to include it in my will to my children!

[8.0" / 20.3 cm] I'm a first AC and Steadicam operator. This plate is perfect when you need to extend the battery back from the camera to better balance something like a shoulder rig, or even to put it on a Steadicam for better dynamic balance front to back. Another great use for this plate is to power multiple accessories either left or right of the main camera body. Sometimes you need more cable length, or less, and this gives you those options to tighten up the cables and overall look of your rig. And of course the main reason why you want to use this is to power multiple accessories in general. A typical setup I use is the bartech Wireless follow focus, Teradek bolt pro 600 wireless video transmitter, & a small HD 702 7 inch monitor to pull focus from.

[Arca-Type] Required to add extra inertia to Steadicam stabilizer. Works with Merlin AND Pilot. Note that for the Pilot the maximum weight of the Camcorder/Camera and weights is 10 lbs.

[120 VAC] I was able to use the above mentioned device for not only connecting a stabilizer rig to a camera without a shoulder support, but a camera that is vintage and made without a way to connect the camera to a tripod other than the Manfrotto 357PLV-1
