[Gold Plated] Now my rolling studio monitor can be placed anywhere. 5 |

[Latch] We keep it on a C-stand most of the time, but the battery design is perfect for occasional outdoor work. If we have a person hold it up (human c-stand), the controls are accessible by the right thumb, so the light operator can make adjustments without moving the fixture. The specs say 7 pounds but it feels light. Excellent build quality and low fan noise. The light it outputs gives plenty of control. Flattering for talent. I purchased two during a b&h promotion, will buy more for my studio in the future. I put this on one side of talent, then compared a 1,000 watt fluorescent daylight bulb on the other side of the talent, looking for shadowing. This light keeps up. Two lights with a silk and I can light just about any interview. Matches my tungstens, and everything between. The specs on this light say it's an 850 watt tungsten equivalent. LED is the craze and so much of it is cheap garbage that does not belong in a professional studio. I think if you are a professional but don't want to spring for high-end LED fresnels and bigger panels, you can get two or three of these and you'll be very happy. The light quality speaks for itself, but you just have to see that for yourself. 5 |

[Yes] This thing is a beast especially when you include the wheels. It's certainly a workhorse with many studio usage. Wish there was another version exactly the same specs except half the weight and supports half the load. 5 |

[20.79 lb] I looked and looked at specs and reviews for a LOT of monitors. It's enough to make your head explode!! I did not have need for the fanciest, most-expensive monitor on the market....I just wanted one with good resolution and color representation. THIS monitor had the specs I was looking for, and more! I edit video and photos, so I was intrigued with the features this monitor offers. I am not a "gamer," but I occasionally enjoy a 'light' game or two. This monitor is just right for me, and the price will not "break the bank." It also has a THREE YEAR WARRANTY. Let me add...the menu buttons are easily accessible from the front panel...no fumbling on the bottom or side of the monitor is necessary. I am happy with it...and I think you will be, too! 5 |

[OLED] This is a great monitor. I'm likely not one of those monitor peeps that are all crazy about specs this and that... all I can say is that it looks great, has great colors, very responsive and 43 is the perfect size for a desk... probably the largest I'd go at least. Been using this for about two weeks ago and its great for work, gaming and watching movies. 5 |

[800 x 480] It's not clear from the specs or the documentation, but in addition to its many other capabilities, this monitor does a wonderful job with the horizontal flip you need for use with a teleprompter. In my case, I'm using it with a small desktop teleprompter that typically uses an iPad to show a PC screen instead. The A12 is a vastly better - finer and more capable - monitor than most monitors meant for teleprompter use displaying text. (They may have other advantages for text.) I'm showing various kinds of screens through it, not just scripts. You also need to turn off the underscan if the edges of the screen matter to your projects. I'm writing this review using the A12 reflected through a teleprompter right now, and happy with the result. I'll revisit this in a few months, after I've had time to see how it does over time and in multiple contexts, but the out-of-box experience, plus a few days, has been great. 5 |

[103 ppi] For gaming it's a fantastic monitor. The specs speak well on themselves. Though I would say the text legibility is awful and took awhile to make barrable. 5 |

[5000:1] I have owned my Philips 27E1N8900 for over 2 months now. Specs are equivalent to much higher priced competitors. Was able to purchase it for $999.99. Colors and contrast are as expected from an OLED monitor. Make sure to use a DP 1.4 cable as this will give you full 10-bit depth. Refresh is 60hz. I am a moderate gamer, so this is fine for me. I have a 144hz 4K IPS monitor, but the colors/contrast of the OLED is so far beyond the IPS I chose to use the Philips 27E1N8900 for the near perfect picture quality. 5 |
