[Stereo] This little recorder is a great pocket-sized recorder for voice or shortwave radio recording. I especially like that it uses a cable to attach to the PC instead of an integral USB plug. While it doesn't support compressed audio, the files are relatively small due to being monaural and at a low bit-rate. The recorder also has a pretty substantial memory capacity, and it is low power and runs for a very long time on alkaline or NiMH AAA cells.

[Plug-In Power] Guys, seriously, go with this microphone. It gives great semi-professional sound, and it's a great price! What I did is I bought a Sony voice recorder and I use this mic plugged into the mic jack of the voice recorder to sync up to my video interviews later...I get great results! I also use a Rode mic ontop of my DSLR for more depth to my interview sound and as backup sound, but I do love this little mic! Highly recommend!

[2] This is probably the easiest recorder that I have used. When I paired this with my Electro-Voice RE320 broadcast mic, I get a clean voiceover that I don't have to do a whole lot in post to fix.

[Yes] This recorder is sensitive, relatively easy to use, fairly economical to purchase and works quite well for voice recording. Since I purchased the recorder for recording voice, i have not used it in music applications. I would recommend using an extension USB cable for charging and file transfer. (The recorder's USB pop out connector can be easily damaged when dangling from a PC.)
