Surface Book Bluetooth Keyboard

[Up to 96%] I was looking for a bluetooth keyboard to replace my usb keyboard that was ok but not really happy with my current keyboard. I looked into the surface keyboard. The reviews online and youtube were very conflicting. However after figuring out how to get the keyboard paired with the pc. I absolutely love this keyboard, it has the same keys and feel as if you had bought a surface laptop 3. The unit that I have received so far after everyday use has had no issues with connectivity, no issues with any of the keys at this point seems like a solid keyboard that is going to last for a long time.

[49 Keys] Read the fine print. This uses Bluetooth LE, and that requires an iPad3 or better. After wondering why it didn't work with either iPad2 here, I found that tidbit (which I had missed) in the fine print, hemmed, hawed, and opted to upgrade the iPad side of the system. It is a quality product, which on the one hand seems quite pricey for what is effectively a 2 button bluetooth keyboard, but on the other hand is much better made than whatever I might kludge up from a cheaper bluetooth keyboard with many more keys. The keys are lit, soft, and silent, and the device is considerably more affordable than some others in its niche - and with the keys on top, not over the edge, it works fine on carpets (some reviews indicate that is a weakness of some competing devices.) For hands-free page turning it really is ideal. Intended for foot operation, it is a bit larger than you'd expect from the pictures.

[Landscape] This works very well to mount a tablet (or in my case a Surface Book 3) to a tripod. The cold shoe is perfect for a microphone.

[5.1] My first laptop was a MS Surface Book--the original one--purchased in 2015. It was a great machine but a bit on the heavy side. I looked long and hard at laptops before I purchased this one. It had everything I wanted (a -7 level processor, Windows 11 PRO, a discreet video subsystem, large SSD, and lots of RAM). The only thing it didn't have was a touch screen, which I thought I could live without. (Turns out I can live w/out it, but I'd rather have it...maybe next time?). So far, I'm very pleased w/ my purchase. Being able to purchase it using my Payboo card saved me a bunch of dough since I didn't have to pay sales tax.

[10.47 lb] used it to connect my surface book to two 4k monitors through miniDP to DP. works flawlessly. when surface screen is closed... both monitors work on 4k

[0.125 lb] Using the passive display port/hdmi Microsoft adaptor, I could only get 1080 out of a 4k monitor hooked up as a secondary monitor for my Surface Book. Plugged in the active display port adaptor from Startech and problem solved. Took my Surface Book and Startech adaptor to Best Buy and tried multiple 4k monitors to decide which to buy and everyone worked perfectly at 4k resolution.

[Steel] I use it to hold my Surface Book on a light stand while tethered to my camera. The Surface is a little to big but it still feels secure on it. Works perfectly for what I need.

[3840 x 2160] Easy to install and use. Using it with the Microsoft Surface Dock and Surface Book 2 to get triple displays (2x minidisplayport on the dock + 1x of these).

[1.065 lb] This keyboard works well with my Dell laptop. Easy Bluetooth connectivity.
