Surge Protector With Side Outlets

[< 1 ns] This surge protector has worked well so far. I like that the outlets are on the side. I suppose this could cause some problems with larger power bricks, but I haven't had any trouble so far. It includes a screw to securely mount to your outlet. The USB ports are a nice touch, but use does eliminate some of the benefit of moving furniture closer to the outlet since they are on the front. In any case, this is well designed and I'd recommend.

I can plug in items on either side and the outlet lays flush because the outlets can turn either way. I have been pleased with every item I have received from APC. A long 10ft power cord there is also a light indicator that will let you know if your outlet is grounded or not, very important if you want your equiptment truly protected. It fits 6 large power adapters/wallworts (which i have yet to see any other power protector do) it also has 6 more normal sized power plugs for a total of 12, as well as 1 phone line in and 2 out, a cable in and out and an ethernet in and out. There is also a cable organizer which when removed shows the input and output layout for the phone jacks. What makes this unit different from all the others is that all of the power outlets are usable with the way the layout is on this unit. I highly recommend this power protector for the simple fact all of the power outlets are usable unlike most other brands and designs. This item replaces at least 2 surge suppressors which helps keep things nicely organized and neat!

I guess we were due anyway since ours was 13 years old. I did some research and ended up going with the Belkin International 8 Outlet Surge Protector with 6 foot power cord. The new unit was smaller and fit better behind our TV stand. It had more than enough outlets...even 1 to spare. It is working just as expected. I am going to get another one for our home office.

[Yes, at 15 A] This is exactly what I was looking for! I couldnt rewire the room Im in, and needed a way to have outlets across a longer distance than a regular surge protector could handle. Plugs are smooth and the cord is nice and long. Love that this is actually a surge protector and not just a power strip, since I have some expensive electronics plugged in to it. Also felt more trustworthy from B&H than some unknown brands elsewhere on the internet.
