Switcher 8 Port

[Device: 120 W] I purchased this product to use for live broadcast switching between two cameras. The setup for is very simple, basically plug and play. There are two input ports, one preview port, and one output port. There is also audio input option. The switcher also comes with a dual foot switcher. Setting up the foot switcher is not intuitive and I had to search for the answer on YouTube. You actually have to go into the menu and turn the foot control on before it will work. This was very frustrating as I expected to be able to just plug it in and use it. I am by no means a production engineer so I can only tell you my experience with my limited knowledge, but overall this product does exactly what I expected and I have had zero problems with it! I highly recommend watching videos and reading the manual before use just learn some of the switchers features, there are many. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with a two camera setup.

[Bowens S] First, 60W will probably meet your needs in a small video studio. I only use 2-8% of the output. Secondly, a standard modifier platform (Bowens' S mount), has saved me a great deal of time. The lower cost silent heads would only accept barndoors, gaffing tape and aluminum foil. Far Far easier to repurpose old modifiers or purchase new. Previously, I would have to retape the foil at inopportune times. SILENCE is critical for me. Recording a cast once correctly is worth all the post processing in the world. Nothing beats SILENCE.

[HDMI] This is a great Switcher, This is the second one I get and I continue to be a fan of datavideo products. I do multi-camera productions and this switcher works great, I have connected 4 Sony DSR300 or combination of 3 cameras and computer for presentations. It also gives me the ability to use the outputs for a preview, program, recorder, streaming and proyection. great product, great quality.
