[Yes] One of the great things about MOTU Symphonic Instruments is that it runs on G4 processor, and even on 256MB of RAM. Consequently, on the even the cheapest of the modern laptops (just like my 2MB Mac Air Intel i5) it works smoothly and loads all the instruments instantly. To me it's the best thing ever to run software release in 2006 on a 2012 computer, because it just runs great. And the sounds are simply breathtaking. Even the concert piano is mind blowing, really lending itself for classical piano playing in real time from my digital piano keyboard. And the price could not be better with B&H special discount offers. I took advantage of the discount, and I am a very happy camper now. Oh, and the authorization process with iLok is very good. I installed MOTU Symphonic Instruments on two computers, and to run it, I simply insert the iLok USB dongle, and voila. It's simply great.

[Standard] The Synchron interface is SO much easier to use (than the former Vienna Symphonic Instruments plugin). Sound quality and playability are impeccable.

[0.65] I use these for portraits and most recently to take portraits of a high school symphonic band. The strobes were at full power due to the distance and the umbrella provided a very nice, uniform light over the whole band. For portrait work they provide great catch lights, and when used with a diffusion panel, a soft even light. I really like how the spokes are hidden by the inner cover. I would diffidently recommend this product.

[Phantom Power] Excellent clarity for a 100 member symphonic band recording mic. Very pleased with the purchase.

[Internal, 3 W] I like wind instruments. This is that and so much more. Nice features make playing sound like the real thing. Tried it all but haven't used it as a midi controller yet

[Mono] This microphone is amazing and was a huge upgrade from what I had. I am using it to record our high school marching band and the recordings are so accurate and detailed, it’s near perfect. I record on top of press boxes in the open air most of the time where I have to deal with wind and, with the wind muff, it does a great job even without turning on the wind reduction. If there was one thing I wish it did better, it would be in the reproduction of the lower frequencies but that’s getting really picky. I am using this microphone on the Sony ZV-E10.

[0.65 lb] I needed something to record band rehearsals and gigs. I wind up sticking it on a mic stand using the adapter from the accessory kit and putting it in the middle of the playing area. The H2N does a remarkably good job and is quite easy to use. I can easily share Mp3s with other band members or friends to discuss issues and, etc. So this has been a very useful tool.
