[0.14 lb] This is a terrific lens hood. Fits just right on my Tampon 18-400mm lens. It really shields the sun. If you have an 18-400mm Tamron lens I recommend you get one.

[Yes] I bought one of these to use w/ a Panasonic G9 & Tamron 100-400mm lens. I also bought a Manfrotto MVH500AH Fluid Head because I couldn't believe something this small could handle the weight. I was wrong.. the Manfrotto is going back and I'm keeping this little jewel. I'm not using the handle either so that makes it even handier. BTW - The Tamron is also going by-by and I'm saving the $$$ for a Panasonic 100-400 now... a good lens but manual focus only w/ the Viltrox EF M1 adapter..

[Arca-type] I use this on a Canon 400MM lens. Mount holds the the lens securly but heavy.

[Brown] I carry my SL1 when I travel. The case will protect it from being accidentally banged around. The only setback is I couldn't use my Tamron 18-270 mm lens. I have to manually changed my 18-55 lens to the Tamron lens when I'll need to zoom farther.

[0.14 lb] I purchased this for a used Tamron 18-400 lens that did not have a hood. I have another one of these lenses that has a hood that conveniently can be turned around and stored right on the lens, even with a protective UV filter installed. This one is exactly the same as the original. I bought another generic hood, and it had to be stored separately. This is definitely the way to go and thus well worth the extra money.
