[82 mm] I purchased this filter with my new Tamron 70-300mm lens. It is a perfect combination. I have many PolarPro filters and I am a big fan of them.

[Yes] This is a very sturdy tripod even with my Sony a99 and either Tamron 70-200 f2.8 or my Minolta 300mm f4. The Monopod is just a great and useful bonus.

[Neoprene] I've used the raincoat 3 times since my purchase, on a Nikon 300mm lens and on a Tamron 150-600 lens. Easy on/off..stays on.. yes the fabric bunches up a bit on the Tamron zooming in and out, but nothing that couldn't be handled. I would buy this and other Lenscoat Raincoats and and will recommend them to my peers.

[0.29x] As a general purpose, zoom lens, the Tamron 28-300mm is hard to beat. Not only is it less expensive than the Nikon equivalent, it's equal in quality and, most important, it's nearly lighter. If you're using it as a traveling lens, the difference in weight alone is a compelling reason to consider this lens.

[0.125 lb] It was with great anticipation that I received my Tamron 70-200mm G2. After renting a Nikon 70-200mm VII I had really high expectations for the Tamron. I took 20 or 30 photos, put them in the computer and viewed them at 100%. There was just not the sharp, crisp look that I had gotten from the Nikon. I had read so many good things about the lens that I couldn't believe it was that bad. I had a sinking, disappointed feeling and was thinking about just forgetting about it and looking for other options but then I decided to get another and try it one more time.... I didn't want to wait for a return so I just ordered a new one and sent the old one back simultaneously... the difference between the two copies was incredible... I am shooting with a D750, so if you are disappointed at the image quality, then you probably have a bad copy.(to test it, I ran through all the apertures at the approximate labeled zoom on the lens and then view all the images at 100%)....

[Neoprene] This is my second tamron 24-70 since I messed up my first one. It is a great lens I would highly recomend.

[0.02 lb] Got a Heliopan clear filter to protect my Nikkor 70-300mm zoom telephoto lens. While there is glass between the lens and the subject, the Heliopan Protection Filter is just like it isn't there, yet it provides protection, which is its defined purpose.
