[0.155 lb] I bought a two-pack of lens caps from Amazon for less than the cost of the Tamron lens cap on B&H. Big mistake. The cheap ones simply would not maintain their grip on the lens if bumped in any way. The Tamron cap grips the lens securely. In this case, you get what you pay for. 5 |

[4.3 x 4 x 0.55"] The cap that came with my used Tamron 28-300 zoom gave its life to protect the lens after I dropped it. The old cap cracked and the UV filter cracked, too. But the lens was fine. This replacement fits snugly and looks just like the original (slight variation in the font). The price was reasonable, too. Glad they are still available. 5 |
