Tascam Lavalier Microphone Recorder

[Black] I use this mic with my tascam recorder and works nice.

[Mono] I have two of these lavaliers and two TM-10LW (white versions, discontinued). I also have the Sennheiser lavalier. For what it is worth, I have mixed them up and can no longer tell them apart. Let's face it: If you are in this price range, this lavalier sounds (to me) just as good as Sennheiser. If you want to up the quality, I suggest leaving both Tascam and Sennheiser and going the COS-11d Sanken route or the Countryman route. I film weddings and these guys have yet to disappoint me. This mic also works well with the Sennheiser packs if you want to use it with those for some reason. I purchased the white versions from B&H, and that is why it does not say Verified Purchase, because that version is discontinued. I also reviewed the Tascam DR-10L with a similar positive review. This microphone provides excellent audio for the price.

[Brown] Sennheiser ME 2 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone is one of my favorite microphone that caches the sound of my acoustic musical instruments while I play and sing. I don't have to use two microphones while interviewing someone.

[22.8" / 580 mm] This is my second one I'm using one for a Behringer XENYX X1832USB mixer,and one for a Tascam DP32sd digital Recorder love them both

[0.11 lb] Not much to say, works as it should. Attached my Tascam Portacapture X8 to a regular microphone stand.

[0.8 lb] I use the Denecke PS-2 with a Tascam 2-channel digital recorder to power my condenser mics. The Tascam has phantom powered XLR input jacks, but the internal phantom power supply is so weak it won't work with mics that draw more than about 2.8 mA. I have many high-quality mics that need more current to function. The addition of the Denecke PS-2 makes it possible for me to use those mics with the Tascam recorder. When powering (2) quality mics that each draw 4.2 mA, the PS-2 will run for 3.5 to 4 hours per new 9v. alkaline battery. The voltage is stable and absolutely noise free. The PS-2 is very well made and does exactly what it's intended to do.
