[2.425 lb] We have purchased this bench for our Auditorium grand which is used by several pianists/accompanists. The frustration with our mechanical turn the nobs to raise/lower bench is that each of us sets a different height for comfort. [16.9 lb] It's about three inches shorter, one inch less in width but just as thick as a dreadnaught case. The neck and headstock are contoured making this case look more expensive than it is. Sorta' reminds me of one of those old blue Martin cases from the 70's. I'm not a Taylor guitar fan. But the GS Mini is probably the best travel guitar out there and this case fits it perfectly. The accessory box is very shallow and will barely contain my strap. Still, it's a really nice case and highly recommended over the hugely expensive Taylor case or gig bag.
