[Variable] As the audio tech at a large church in Honolulu, I have had hum occur with other DI boxes, when connecting a keyboard and bass to our Mackie audio console. The ProDI creates a clean clear signal. To connect iPads, cell phones and the like, we also use the RadialProAV1 1-channel Passive A/V Direct Box

[50' / 15 m] I have a bass amp (Aguilar TH350) that has a DI Out but no headphone out. While I have dedicated headphone amps, I wanted to be able to hear my Tone Hammer amp via headphones. This did the trick. I just run this from the DI into my headphone amp. Great price from B+H.

[Black] I use this DI for recording bass through a MOTU 828mk audio interface to Pro Tools. Great results. Very well made and easy to use.

[0.15%] I can't express how much I have come to value this DI. When recording (or amplifying) acoustic jazz bass from a loud stage, I do what I can with a microphone but for isolation I MUST incorporate a DI. The variable input impedance control on the TD-100 changes the loading on high impedance, passive pickups. This boils down to being an incredible tone control, allowing me to find a sweet spot in the bass tone before I ever reach for an EQ. Bass players also love the vastly improved tone which is thereby presented to the input of their amp, allowing them to sculpt an even better tone rather than simply trying to transform a poor one into something usable. I don't play bass, but if I did I would own one of these. As an engineer, I always have one handy. Using a channel with this DI either alone or in combination with a microphone yields beautiful results while also allowing me to have much better isolation than just a microphone can deliver. Highly recommended!

[200 Ohms] I use the Type 10 active DI to get a signal from my 5 string bass to my front of house team at church and in my home studio into my focusrite liquid channel.Made a huge improvement at church in our 2,500 services, louder, clear and more presence. At home gives me the flexibility to create a line level bass feed to my liquid channel, huge

[Yes] I have several of these and use them all the time. This is my favorite DI for bass (until I can afford a demeter tube DI). These units are rock solid and built like a tank. The only problem I have with them is that I occasionaly catch perople trying to steal them at a gig.

[White] I bought this to leave it patched into my bass amp's DI inside its rack case to avoid any possible issues with phantom power as our band uses a few different sound companies. I tested it at home prior to my recent gig and it had no noticeable effect on the DI signal as promised. I patched it between a phantom powered Sansamp to test that it does, in fact, block the 48 volt signal and it worked. It's a simple, durable device that does what it says it does.

[Brown] This DI gives a sweet, warm tube tone to bass. It is extraordinarily simple in design with only one user control: output level. What is does do is produce a a vintage warmth that is very appealing and at the same time revealing of the instrument and the player. The low frequency limit is 20 Hz, not 60 Hz as mentioned in the specs here at B&H.
